The hotel was dirty. Stained carpets and specs of blood on curtains. My disabled mother used a bench to help shower ing. That the hotel had supplied, whilst using it the legs collapsed causing her to injure her side and back. This was reported to the reception desk, a manager and the head of security. The head of security admitted that the bench was faulty. We were promised a phone call from the risk management team. After emails and phone calls they haven’t followed this up. Very disappointing and unacceptable. Clearly the management of the hotel doesn’t care.

The first room they put us in had ants, the fridge wouldn’t close completely, and our door didn’t latch without a lot of force. The second room they put us in, the faucet shot off when we turned it on and water went everywhere. They refunded our parking ($147) and gave us a $100 credit. We are staying here for 6 nights.

I’ve checked in here 4x already, and it’s very family friendly. Also, sir Miguel if very helpful and jolly when welcoming us. My family and friends that I brought here is really happy to meet him.

Vegetarian options: Beyond Burger, Garlic Knots, Cheese Curds, Salads.

Dietary restrictions: Tell the server you have restrictions and a chef will come up and go above and beyond.

Parking: If you are a guest in any of the Loews hotels, parking is included with your stay. If you are just there to bowl, let a bowling attendant know, they will validate your parking.

Kid-friendliness: It’s bowling alley with Dino Ramps to help them bowl, bumpers for kids 9 & under, and a kids menu with activities that has enough food for snacks in the park for later.

Wheelchair accessibility: Lanes 1 and 10 are has accessibility for wheelchairs, make sure to mention it when you are booking.

Despite us staying onsite, we were unable to bowl at all because they allowed a private event to book it the whole day. Very disappointing.

The atmosphere was a no for us definitely and the only thing that was good food wise was the kids chicken tenders and fries we ended up not staying the whole 75 minutes definitely not worth the price that was paid for everything

DO NOT STAY HERE - they have bedbugs‼ Just checked out of Cabana Bay on 6/26 and it is the worst experience I've ever had at a hotel or motel anywhere. We stayed in the tower with a volcano view, which was neat - but at what cost??? Knowing what I know now you couldn't PAY me to stay there again. I was invited as an influencer on a brand trip to market the hotel and not only did we find bedbugs, but the situation was handled so poorly. We were moved rooms but they couldn't get us another accessible room (I'm a wheelchair user). Security guard took my statement around 1:00 am and didn't even bring a luggage cart to assist us - two disabled guests - in moving rooms. After getting zero sleep, in order to safely make the drive home, we needed to extended our stay/rebook for a single night to rest beforehand. The front desk agent and supervisor were beyond unhelpful and told us to go online and book something ourselves. Got a call a day later that the specialized pest control team said our room was positive for bedbugs. No advice on what to do our what costs would be paid by the hotel when treating or replacing our things. They didn't assist with heat treating our laundry or belongings either. Just offered a lackluster apology and a free 2 night stay - which... why would I want that??? LOL. The way an influencer is treated is the best way you can expect a guest to be treated, SO with that being said - I cannot reccomend staying away from CBBR more unless you want bedbugs and nonexistent customer service. Save yourself and go to Disney!!

We arrived early and left our bags at luggage check. They texted us a short while later and let us know our room was ready. We had a 2 bedroom, 2 bath suite facing Volcano Bay. The room was clean, beds were comfortable, and the views were amazing. We never heard any sounds from other guests but, we did hear the music coming from the Volcano Bay. I was able to text to ask questions and get answers within a couple minutes. It was our first stay on property and we will definitely be back. Absolutely loved everything about Cabana Bay. I would recommend to anyone.

Room wasn’t ready upon arrival. Very over priced, location to VB is close but not enough to justify high dirty rooms. Bowling was fully booked and unable to use. Daughter with cancer slept on worst fold out bed EVER. So uncomfortable! Ventura is much nicer and closer. Have tried to get in here a few years, being marketed such a great kids hotel, and it’s always booked. Understandably, it’s convenient if you have really young kids. Lazy river, pool were freezing and hot tub not operating. Sent request to manager about being placed in wrong room, and was not resolved. We have tried all the Universal hotels now, and won’t be back to this one. The staff was friendly and seemed to be helpful that I encountered upon arrival and told our room wouldn’t be ready for hours after check in time. F minus for the $$$

Half way through my stay and what else can I say but, fantastic! Clean rooms, Comfy beds, awesome pools, and we have ducks that come visit the pool every night! This hotel group really has it going on.

Not a clear way to book a bowling alley. Called and was greeted by a nice man who told me how and I followed his instructions and booked a lane for 6:30. Got there and was rudely told that it was impossible that I booked one because they were booked for the today and the next day even when I showed them my email confirmation they refused to accommodate. Definitely wouldn’t recommend.
