Gen Korean BBQ House

The food was actually pretty good, but that’s about it. The service is absolutely terrible, servers were nice but took forever to take out food and even forgot orders. I had to wait 10-15 minutes and then reminded a waiter who finally got the food out. And then when I went to pay, I left a fair tip even with poor service, and they overcharged my card because they forgot include the cash tip into the total.

First time trying Gen Korean BBQ and they didn’t disappoint! My gf and I ordered from the Premium Dinner menu and their premium meats were all well seasoned, juicy, tender, and delicious!

Catalina served us with a bright smile and gave us a great first experience! We would come back next time just to see her again! Great service!

I had a party of 3, we arrived close to 7pm and had no wait time for a table. Our server was very friendly and food came out very quickly. Everything was AMAZING. I really loved how large the menu options were even on the regular dinner menu instead of the premium for the all you can eat. It is a bit cold inside so bring a jacket. Ive been to almost every single korean bqq place in orlando and brevard and this place is far better in my opinion than all of them. I will be back. 😁

Came for Birthday Celebration and first time at a Korean BBQ place and our waiter Isak was amazing he helped us get some of our food started. Great experience and definitely recommend.

I’ve always had a pleasant experience here. It does seem they tend to be understaffed however the service I’ve received has always been great. The food tastes really great, and I love the appetizer options available.

Not kid friendly during our visit all the kids high chair seat belts where broken. People where sweeping and dusting while we where eating our meal. When the host/server sat us at a table the manager asked us to get up to finish cleaning the floor first. It was not a good experience overall for the low quality food and I would never go back again

Amazing experience at Gen Korean BBQ Orlando! The food was delicious, fresh, and just like I remembered from the California Gen Korean BBQ I used to love. The manager and my server were spectacular! truly top-notch service. Highly recommend and I’ll definitely be back!

I saw this place on tik tok and wanted to give it a try and it was so amazing I highly recommend it. I especially recommend trying to get sat with Catalina she was so attentive and sweet and just all around a 10/10 server. Was never low on water, she changed the grill when needed, and she gave great recommendations. All around a great expierience.

I recently visited Gen Q Barbecue in Alafaya and was blown away by the experience. The food was absolutely amazing — packed with flavor, fresh, and cooked to perfection. Every bite felt like real comfort food done right.

On top of that, the atmosphere was great. The space felt welcoming and relaxed, and I really appreciated how clean and well-kept everything was. It’s clear they take pride not just in their food, but also in maintaining a top-notch dining environment.

If you’re looking for delicious barbecue with excellent quality in a spotless setting, Jenn Q Barbecue is definitely worth the visit.

Tldr... Understaffed, good food, excruciatingly slow service, Not recommended.

Only been here 3 times and was disappointed every time.
Lunch and Dinner understaffed

First visit was dinner, not only does it take 10-15 minutes to get started, they messed up an order 3 times and took 25 minutes for it to come out after missing the order the first time, spilling it the second time, and then after 25 minutes to finally come out.

Drinks took forever to refill, 10-12 minute wait.

Second time for lunch. There was 3 to 4 other tables being served by one person. About 10 to 15 minute wait for a response for either drink refills or additional orders.

Third time lunch. Took 10 minutes to get noticed and seated. Left after 18 minutes waiting to be asked what we wanted to drink

Food is great, service isn't worth the price.

It's more time and cost effective making an additional 20 minute drive elsewhere than spending an extra hour of wait time just waiting for any service.

Just had dinner here and was super excited to try this after seeing it on Tik tok. Most disappointing kbbq in Orlando. Shrimp came completely in the shell, with no easy way to peel or devein them. Very few sauce options, and they all taste like cheap store bought. Loved the idea of the tacos, but they brought two tortillas and again the salsas were not good. Service wasn’t great and it was so cold in there it was unenoyable. Paid with gift cards and there was no option to tip or place to sign the receipt so we just left the $23 remaining on the gift card as we won’t be back. There are so many better kbbq places in Orlando.
