I ate here with my 2 brothers on a Saturday for lunch. Service was pretty quick and the servings were generous. All of the meats were delicious and well marinated.

Replace Andrea at your discretion please
We came to this restaurant planning to enjoy the all-you-can-eat option, only to be told after sitting down that it wasn’t available to us. This was extremely unfair, especially since nearly every table around us was clearly having the all-you-can-eat service. When we asked to speak to the manager, Andrea, her response was that it’s ‘at the manager’s discretion,’ which felt arbitrary and unprofessional. We left with an overpriced bill, unsatisfied and still hungry. Very disappointing experience.

Gyu-Kaku Japanese BBQ is an incredible dining experience and one of my favorite BBQ spots. While it’s Japanese BBQ, the experience is very similar to Korean BBQ, with a tabletop grill where you cook your own meats. The variety of options is outstanding, featuring tender beef, flavorful chicken, and pork, all perfectly marinated. The sauces and seasonings are spot-on, adding just the right balance of flavor to every bite.
The prices are very reasonable for the high quality and generous portion sizes, making it a fantastic value. You can enjoy a premium BBQ experience without breaking the bank.
The service is just as impressive as the food. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and always attentive, making sure everything runs smoothly. They’re happy to explain the menu and offer recommendations, which is great for first-time visitors.
Whenever we’re in Florida, Gyu-Kaku is a must-visit for us. It’s become a tradition, and every time we leave completely satisfied. The combination of delicious food, excellent service, and the interactive grilling experience keeps us coming back. If you enjoy Korean BBQ, you’ll love the similar but unique flavors at Gyu-Kaku. Highly recommend this place—you won’t be disappointed!

NOT for parties over 4, I guess. My husband was actually seated at the end of the table in the aisle. Crazy. Larger parties clearly need 2 burners. I read reviews that this happens at the other locations so I booked here. Automatic gratuity for 6? Dumb. This place would've made a LOT more if they weren't so cheap. AND, when we were ready to leave, they FINALLY brought out the shrimp and chicken?! And because with only 1 burner and lots of people, food doesn't get cooked properly so I was sick the next day.

food is the only thing I would give 2 stars. When you need to be served, nobody will show around. 20 percent MANDATORY tips may help you decide if you want to experience it.

Bad review, run away, it’s just a scam. I ordered the premium buffet for RMB 54 per person before tax. The tip is included in the bill by default and needs to be carefully checked.
Food: The pork is not fresh, the beef is only available in the angus variety, the spicy ones are not fresh, don’t order them, the food is very salty, only rice and no lettuce (no need to say more about what it means)
Service: There is almost no service. There is no one for two people and eight tables. The food is extremely slow and time-consuming.
In summary, what is not good to eat for a meal between 60 and 70? ? ? Come here to find fault? Very discouraged
Run! ! !

Restaurantji Recommends
This is my sons favorite place. He actively seeks them out in any city or region. According to him, this one is better than most he has visited. The food and service were great, and they do not force any significant time limits on your stay. It can get very expensive, very quickly, so try to plan your entire meal ahead of time to minimize costs.
Kid-friendliness: Several tables with kids, but make sure your kids like sushi and Japanese food first, otherwise they may be fussy about the food. They do have a small American menu section, but we did not try it.
Wheelchair accessibility: Access is there, but the tables may pose difficulty or outright hazard to someone in a wheelchair, They will likely require someone else to cook their food, as the in table grill can be difficult to reach, if you are impaired.

I've been to a few of this chain, and this one was noticeably lesser quality. The meat selections were very poor and the cuts left me with just blobs of mostly fat. Not a great dining experience, especially for the money.

In contrast to the terrible Gyu Kaku location in Winter Springs, this location was great and more like the great izakaya BBQ vibe one gets when visiting in Japan.
Me, my wife and our 2 kids had a great time.
Kid-friendliness: They put us in a perfectly sized booth and the kids loved watching us cook the food. The server was also perfect and on point with recommendations.

I love Japanese BBQ. So of course I went for the all you can eat over 70 minutes option full expecting them to chase me out with a bat for eating my 100kilo weight in deliciousness.
Alas...the service seems to be designed to take so long between ordering and bringing you new plates of meat to cook yourself, as to be a racket. After all, they charge you full a la cart price for any items you don't finish. This felt like a set up.
The meats were slow to come out. Lots of idle time between grilling that could have been spent grilling and eating.
The real rub is that there is an automatic 18% gratuity. This pretty much seals the deal on sub par service. Meaning, i suspect management purposely runs the operation short staffed to slow down the delivery of meats/food to grill. Thereby saving them the labor costs...at the dinner's expense. 🤔
So yeah. This place is t best mid. Not worth the calorie expenditure.
