“Yash, is the man!!! We were looking for a good Indian restaurant in Orlando, and what found was an excellent one called Tamara. This place is at the lobby of the Cambria Hotel tucked behind a Walgreens on International Drive. Service wise with Yash spearheading the attention we felt well attended. We were so hungry that we skip the appetizers, and yet, they brought the flattest bread I have ever seen with 3 dipping sauces. After that it was downhill from there in a very good way. The naan breads, garlic and the aptly name butter tandoori roti were amazing. Follow by the Pandara Chicken, and the Tamara’s Special Goat Curry that were exceptional. Yash showed up at the end, with a extremely good Rasmaili dessert that was light, tasty and refreshing all at once. This is a place to bring a date, friends or family and have an elevated Indian cuisine meal. Cheers to Tamara…..

Tolerate spicy food. We had the buffet for lunch. I'm not familiar with Indian food at all, but I was pleasantly surprised with how good the food was. It wasn't too spicy, very flavorful and unique. It was nice to eat really fresh food that tasted amazing. I highly recommend giving them a try. I think for the quality of the food it is well worth the buffet price. Just don't expect a hugh spread, but instead a good selection of fresh, real food instead of the normal processed food for lunch

“My wife and I stopped in for the lunch buffet (4-12-2004). It was our first time in this eating establishment. The food on the buffet was wonderful. It was fresh and tasty. The spices were outstanding. We like Indian food and this is a winner. The chef knows how to prepare Indian food. The buffet had a very good choice of different foods to try. This place is worth a visit. Also, staff was very outgoing and pleasant. They wanted to be sure that you were having a good dining experience. Needless to say we will be back again.“

Service was non-existent... never got water refills (had to do it myself!) and they never picked up our 1st round plates...they just sat there crowding our table. You both came and made sure all of my wedding items were packed up and secured safely. You and your family invited us into your home as if we are your own and gave us a warm cooked meal. I had the pleasure of meeting your entire family. When the new date happened you were completely booked. However, you still wanted to make sure we had the dream food and dream wedding. I left you both with the menu selections, and your suggestions were amazing! Accommodating non-garlic and non-onion food versus what I usually eat is tough. However, you guys made sure every guest left fed! Multiple guests told me they took at least 4-6 plates of food! Not only the food, but the emotional connection you both felt with me. Nayna Auntie saw me stressed out one day and asked me if I had eaten. I had completely forgotten between hair and makeup. She brought me an entire plate of warm food that made me feel so much better. The week of the wedding, I stopped by the shop and you both gave me a warm dessert. I am not usually a dessert person, but I cannot stop thinking about the dudhi nu halwa. The entire time everything was sanitary and on time. Last minute Arun Uncle was able to provide me with plastic wear and kulfi. Not only did I like working with you, but also all of the vendors! You both gave me so much love and patience, I feel like a daughter to both of you! I am definitely wanting to stay in touch and visit your family next time! “I recently had the pleasure of dining at this establishment, and I must say that the food was absolutely delicious! The portions were generous, and we were able to try a variety of dishes.

We ordered the chicken 65, gobi Manchurian, chicken vindaloo, mutton biryani, bullet naan, falooda, mango lassi, and salt lassi. Each dish was cooked to perfection, with the right balance of spices. However, I did notice that some of the dishes had an excessive amount of food coloring, which was a minor drawback.

The staff were extremely attentive and friendly, providing excellent service throughout our meal. They were knowledgeable about the menu and made recommendations when needed.

Overall, I would recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for delicious and authentic Indian cuisine. The generous portions, attentive staff, and flavorful dishes make it a must-visit destination.

“I just realized (as I was checking-in) that this place has a fb page!! I came here to write a review and I'm shocked seeing 2 or 3 people leaving a terrible review. Me and my husband live in Tampa and have been coming here for about three years now. There is not a single time we go back home, not having lunch or dinner at this restaurant. My family is Pakistani so let me tell you the taste is LEGIT! Its very flavorful and the staff is super nice every single time. They were in need of a make-over which I'm so glad they redid the decor and its incredibly beautiful!!! ❤️❤️❤️ Definitely recommend 10/10“
