“Amazing experience at Jala! Highly recommended!
​We visited Jala in Orlando on Wednesday, Sept 9th, around 4:00 PM, and it was fantastic from start to finish. The restaurant is located in a wonderful area, making the whole visit even more enjoyable.
​The service was outstanding—the staff was extremely friendly, funny, and made us feel right at home. On top of that, the food was delicious!
​The value for money here is exceptional. We paid just under $200 for a group of four, including drinks, which is incredible quality for that price in Orlando.
​If you are in the area, Jala is definitely worth a visit!.
Next time i am in Orlando i definitely visit this Restaurant again.❤“

We were more than thrilled with our catering order and everything was a hit! From Lolli pop chicken l, tandoori chicken to Chicken Tikka Masala! You know when the guests are complimenting the food, it’s a great sign! The only bit of feedback I have is the chicken tikka lacked meat, more curry than meat! “Outstanding place in Longwood, Florida. We were there for the first time on December 24th, 2025, Wednesday between 18:45 to 20:00 Hrs. We had Masala dosa, Sada Dosa, Spicy dosa, idly combo, Manago lassi and Chakra (Jaggery) Pongal - entire family loved this place, as well as this new sweet, we had never had in our life. Amazing. Great folks to remember as well as Appreciate are: Divya, Harish -who goes out of the way to serve my mother-in-law... They said they were kind to check on them often. “Came here with my coworkers for a lunch buffet. We all had a phenomenal experience, all of the food was great and delicious. Our group particularly liked the palak paneer, the chicken tandoori and the mutton biryani. The service was great all our waters came quickly. The butter chicken was okay, the one in their regular menu is a lot better. The price was excellent at only 15.99 per person. Highly recommend their lunch buffet if you are in the area.“

“We thought how can this place have 4.8 stars? So, we found out why. We went to the Orlando Farmer’s Market and found the food items there really expensive. So we went to find a nearby restaurant and found Dada. What a find! We really liked their buffet. The dishes were really nice and fresh. They kept being refreshed and filled food to replenish. They had 2 desserts and my favorite, gulab jaman were outstanding. I added a masala chai to the meal and it too was perfect. Of course they offer a rather large menu of items for dinner as well. We have not had an Indian Buffet in a really long time and the food was really good. Give them a try and park behind the building as there are lots of spots, then walk around to the front door. YUMM!“

“My wife and I stopped in for the lunch buffet (4-12-2004). It was our first time in this eating establishment. The food on the buffet was wonderful. It was fresh and tasty. The spices were outstanding. We like Indian food and this is a winner. The chef knows how to prepare Indian food. The buffet had a very good choice of different foods to try. This place is worth a visit. Also, staff was very outgoing and pleasant. They wanted to be sure that you were having a good dining experience. Needless to say we will be back again.“

We ordered *Baigan Bharta, Roti, Khichdi and Kadhi* and the food was absolutely delicious - pure authentic Gujarati taste, just like home!
The place is *clean and tidy* and the *service was great* too. The staff were very friendly and welcoming.

“I’m from the top 3 diverse city in usa, Houston Texas,Vacationing for a week in Orlando. It is hard to find Suriname restaurant, around 3 suriname restaurants in 🇺🇸 USA. Florida has some level-4 ethnic food like Paraguay food with 3 restaurants in the country . I’m happy I tried it because it’s such a flex eating Surinamese food that people never heard the Latin country. Workers are nice and food was delicious .💕💕“

“Best Indian food since Woodlands. Small canteen where it's best to order and take out to go. This is more Southern Indian style food, and it's very well made. The canteen is towards the back of the first building once you enter the lot. They are not open everyday but they are open Friday evenings, so make sure to read the hours on the sign before entering, that way you'll know what days of the week they are open.

Vegetarian options: There is no means in any of the main dishes.

Wheelchair accessibility: There is handycat parking areas and the sidewalk does lead straight into the canteen.“

“Stumbled into this place inside the passageway with the Coy ponds on Park Ave in Winter Park. The ambiance is amazing- elegant but casual enough. We all ordered one of their lunch specials. The food was amazing and beautifully presented. I had the Chicken Korma prepared with mild heat. The chicken was perfectly prepared - tender and juicy, and the sauce was bursting with flavor. It was served with tomato soup with coriander, Basmati rice, a spicy little samosa, and a delightful little sweet - Gulab Jamun, to finish it all off. The service was excellent being both attentive and friendly. I highly recommend this wonderful place.“

“Full transparency. I'm not west Indian but I've enjoyed trini and Jamaican cuisine for nearly 50 years now, whether homemade or restaurant, mostly in NYC, specifically Brookly, Bronx, and Harlem, all the major known spots over the years. Singhs roti shop is decent and at times very good. I've enjoyed their rotis, doubles , curry goat etc on many occasions.. Not sure why it gets all the bad reviews. I understand like with any restaurant its sometimes hit or miss and also some dishes are better than others. That said, I support their business because as a transplanted new yorker we dont have many options in Orlando. I trust they will continue to serve great cuisine and earn better reviews, including this one. Bless up“
