Don't see any of the old employees so believe it's changed owners. The food was good before and is still very good. Inside has been refreshed and think they have a few more choices. Service was good and price was good. $24 for 2. Glad they opened back up after renovation. This was a regular visit before and will still be.

Most of the food was cold, bread (biscuits, rolls, and cornbread) was cold. Desserts weren't good either. All of the meat tasted bland. Pudding tasted like they made it with Jell-0 boxes. The only things that were good was the service that the waitress provided and the fountain drinks and Salad bar. You're better off going to Ichiban Buffet or Golden Corral for a buffet experience with guaranteed good food. Will definitely not be returning.

Well-rounded all-you-can-eat buffet catering to American dishes, vegetables, green beans; shoepeg corn; lima beans; field peas, collards, several types of meat, desserts, and much more. The seating booths are a bit worn and the furniture could use a facelift but this doesn't interfere with the all-around wholesomeness. An enjoyable place to dine and relax.

Good biscuits? GONE Good coffee? GONE Good fried chicken? Gone. Everything we liked about this hole in the wall is gone. Also, the cashier made me pay before I sat down, first time that's ever happened. How would he know what I wanted to drink? It's a buffet but beverages are not included. Weird. I was SO NOT IMPRESSED. And everyone working here seems so miserable. I miss Miss Kim and her staff. It's too bad. This used to be one of those places that gave a town character as long as you didn't have to use the bathroom. That's all gone. The bread now is fried hamburger buns. I am not kidding. Worst food ever. At least Miss Kim had good food. Never going back. The price has increased to $8.75 for lunch. That's with a "seniors discount". I guess I look like a senior? Everybody in there was talking about how awful it was and making fun of the food.

I have ate their cooking for many years and a few years back it was wonderful but the last two times me and my family and friends eat there it was really bad. The food was dried up and hard and wasn't fit to eat. The water I order was so bad I refused to drink it! Don't get me wrong! I used to love their food but since new management took over the food has really been bad. I love the staff they are very friendly but they need to improve the food. I've wasted my money the last two times I was there because I couldn't eat the food.

I eat here all the time and the food is always good and at good temperatures. The menu has changed some in the past few months with newer offerings and it is a good improvement. Don't judge a book by its cover: The building is old and needs updating, but the food is wonderful! Great southern cooking! I recommend getting some of the peach cobbler and putting vanilla ice cream on it for dessert. YUM!

Good southern dishes. Depending on the time of day you visit, some of the dishes look like they've been out for a while but still just as good. Easy on the wallet.
