The turkey wings are a must I enjoyed mine with Mac and cheese greens and dressing. The price point in today’s economy was beautiful and the location has so much atmosphere. Cornbread was on point to beef short ribs were bussin.
I started my search for soul food in this town years ago and thank god there's so many spots. P&D has become a regular go-to for me with good reason. The food is on point. One of the best things is that the majority of the food is ready and waiting when you enter. You'll have to wait for fried options as it's done when you order but it's always worth the wait. This is a must try spot. The TLC put into this food is unreal. I got all this for $12!! Three freshly fried chicken wings, rutabaga with some sort of meat I think was oxtail, mac n cheese, yellow rice and corn bread. I left full and beyond happy. Plus Dennis and Paula are the sweetest. They were very patient with our questions, and extremely personable. It was delightful to talk to them.The fried chicken took about 15 min but was worth the wait.
