This is a must try spot. The TLC put into this food is unreal. I got all this for $12!! Three freshly fried chicken wings, rutabaga with some sort of meat I think was oxtail, mac n cheese, yellow rice and corn bread. I left full and beyond happy. Plus Dennis and Paula are the sweetest. They were very patient with our questions, and extremely personable. It was delightful to talk to them.The fried chicken took about 15 min but was worth the wait. Especially for being freshly fried! It was incredibly juicy. I also loved the Mac n cheese. It was the perfect consistency and taste. The corn bread was the best tasting I've ever had flavor wise but a bit too crumbley for my taste.I wanted to get their lemon pound cake but was too full by the end of my meal. I'll have to come back again soon to try it out!

Let me start with a positive very welcoming and great service. Food was not great in my opinion. Needed more seasoning and a change of oil for the fried foods. The prices are decent.
The turkey wings are a must I enjoyed mine with Mac and cheese greens and dressing. The price point in today’s economy was beautiful and the location has so much atmosphere. Cornbread was on point to beef short ribs were bussin.

I started my search for soul food in this town years ago and thank god there's so many spots. P&D has become a regular go-to for me with good reason. The food is on point. One of the best things is that the majority of the food is ready and waiting when you enter. You'll have to wait for fried options as it's done when you order but it's always worth the wait. Service is always friendly of course. They have small and large plates and you get rice or dressing with every platter so you're getting bang for your buck. Five stars every time.

I am never disappointed with my meal or customer service. The customer service is phenomenal! I recommend P&D for good meal at a great price point. It is a take out so if you’re looking for dine in this isn’t that type of restaurant! It’s worth taking home at enjoying!

My daughters and I stopped in here last night while in the area for an event. We were immediately greeted with smiling faces and everyone was very helpful. The food was amazing and the selection was perfect. I will be coming back again and I highly recommend anyone to stop in and check them out.
This place is one of Orlando's best for takeout Soul Food. Im a sides kinda girl so I typically go for a veggie plate; a selection of three sides with rice or dressing and corn muffin. When I find a side I dislike I'll update the review.

Wouldn't recommend you can tell the food been sitting there. I got a small plate of yellow rice collard greens and cubed steak and it came out to 20$ that ridiculous lol because the food ain't even that good won't be coming
