I had a great experience with my party here. We started with the miso soups which were very delightful and rich in taste, then we ordered almost all of the nigiri types. The fish was very fresh and delicious but I think the rice could be improved and the fish could be cut a little bit thicker than we received it.

Some of the food was great and some of it was ok. The shrimp bao bun (which is more of a shrimp patty than real shrimp) tasted funky - a little like the end part of the shrimp had been grinded in as well giving the whole thing a bitter taste. The sushi was good on the whole and the cocktails were well balanced. Good service. Generally it felt like the restaurant was trying to be of a particular calibre that it didn’t quite reach. A nice experience overall though.

If you’re looking for a spot that’s perfect for a date night and full of pleasant surprises, this Kabooki location absolutely delivers. From the moment I sat at the bar for dinner, the entire experience was top-notch.
