Kalalou Caribbean Bar & Grill Orlando

I came to visit a friend in Orlando and we were looking for an Haitian place to dine in and we were glad we found this place. The food was good and the service was great.

$37 for Lalo is insane. I didn’t argue—I paid and left. Rest assured, I will never be back.

The food was okay, but for that price, I expected much more. The meat portion was extremely small—only two pieces, and I’m not exaggerating. The value simply wasn’t there.

I thoroughly enjoy everything about Kalalou Caribbean Bar & Grill! The food is amazing, the atmosphere is cozy, and the service is spectacular. I dine in and and drive through often, so much I've been able to redeem reward points to get money off my order. I ordered my food to go today and I just want to say Day provides the best customer service I've experienced. She's always courteous, happy, and has a great vibe. She's a gem! One dish you should try is Tassot Turkey, The food is delicious and so flavorful. Today I did take out, but if you dine in, you're going to enjoy the ambiance and they play great music.

Every time I dine in the food is always well prepared & delicious. Waiting time may vary at times.

Recommended dishes: Creole Stew Chicken, Legumes Vegan Stew, Marinade Fritters 6, Tapas Griot

Ask the waitress for two soda( ginger ale and coke), she brought me a can and a bottle of coke without cups of ice. I asked for kalalou and didn’t have it. I was flabbergasted. I went to the bathroom and the bathroom smells horrible. I canceled my order and left. By the way the can of ginger ale and a bottle of coke set me back close to $8. Goodbye Kalalou, you lost another one!

We had a great experience at Kalalou. Words cannot describe how much we appreciated our time there. The atmosphere was inviting. There was music playing and ambient lighting. Kevin, our waiter was personable and always ready to assist us with any questions. The food came at a very reasonable time. The food was delicious. Compliments to the chef. You can tell there is a lot of attention and care made in the meals. If you’re Haitian, you will have a sense of nostalgia from these exquisite flavorful dishes.The fried food was fresh, not greasy. A wonderful time all around. 10/10!

Horrible customer service and still is even after years. I got hung up on over the phone just checking in on a DoorDash order. Food is good but paired with terrible service

I enjoyed the Fresh food. No complaints at all. Dine in and the restaurant always had friendly waiters with both of my visits.

If it were possible to leave no stars at all, i would have. I must admit the food for me has been hit or miss, but the one thing I normally find consistent is the rice djon djon. I have to go have sporadically as the service is always worse than slow. I arrived at the drive through window with 1 car ahead of me, after that car left i waited... and waited and waited. I lightly tapped on my horn to see if someone would come service me, but that did not work. after about 5 mins I decided to go in. I ordered via the Kiosk my usual the rice. The service was slow, very slow to say the least. This [place would be so much better if the service was better. I understand good food takes time, but The wait times and service really need to be worked on, No did they give me my change...;

The food is a 10 out of 10, everything was so flavorful and delicious. If you are short on time come back when you have free time, the service is very slow. We still tipped our waiter 40 dollars even though he forgot a lot of things.
