Kolombia Cafe/ Mug N’ Hat is a hidden cafe about a block away from the Super Target, not visible from the street. This seriously excellent restaurant offers a quiet atmosphere and good service, where customers are not pressured to leave a tip. The food is fresh, hot and massive, with classic arepas style sandwiches, empanadas, and the Reina being filling and delicious. The coffee is really strong and great, with a highly recommended dirty chai and the best caramel latte of a customer’s life. The Dulce de Leche latte has a sweet and distinctive, new flavor. The decor/atmosphere is cute and custom, featuring coffee mug light fixtures and a wall spigot for customers to get drinking water. There is outside seating, great for relaxing. The staff is very friendly, and the barista was super nice and helpful. Some prices on the cash register are higher than the menu, charged about 25 cents extra for each item. The hot sauce is vinegary, but the garlic sauce is very tasty.
