Since there was no place there to eat there, we took our dinner home. While the chicken was nothing special, the biscuit certainly was! I had blueberry, and hubby had a regular one. We devoured them so fast that there was no sharing with the variety. If we could have imagined how delicious they were, I would have bought the rest. The fried chicken was crispy enough, and evidently some spicy sauce had been injected inside for extra flavor, but we both prefer white meat, and dark meat was all that was left from the day's cooking. I was not familiar with the beverage in the bottle, but the island citrus punch lemonade was tasty. The next time I'm in the area, I wouldn't hesitate about going in for more of their biscuits. Maybe my timing would be early enough to try a chicken breast or chicken sandwich, or I could make a meal with those biscuits. Yum.

Gritty hidden gem in the ‘hood. KKC tucked away inside this gas station might look rundown but the food makes up for it. Jefe running the chicken counter is friendly and eager to please his customers, always hooks you up with just a bit more to show you how much he appreciates all his customers; this keeps you coming back every time. Don’t let the local area scare you off too much. Worth it for a true fried chicken lover!
