Recently returned from a 5 night stay and it was great. We stayed in Ranchos and had an adjoining room with another family that we were traveling with. Yes, the grounds are huge and we did get a little confused finding our room in the dark that first night, but once we found it, we had no complaints. The beds were very comfortable and the bathrooms had a ton of storage space. I appreciated all the outlets in the room as well. There are 4 (I think) bus stops around the property and we were very close to one of them. The transportation to the parks could not have been any easier! We ate at El Mercado several times and at Rix once and thought the food was pretty good. The Dig Site pool was awesome and we also enjoyed the Ranchos pool right across from our building. All of the grounds were beautiful, I only wish we'd gotten the chance to explore and enjoy them a bit more!

We were doing a quick 24 hour Disney trip for Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas and had booked a budget Disney resort. About a month before our trip we got a call from Disney and they upgraded us to one of their moderate resorts, Coronado Springs. We were very excited! It is a gorgeous property with a southwest theme. The large main swimming pool did offer a waterslide. The rooms are comfortable, but nothing fancy. There was no difference in these rooms than ones you would have at a budget Disney resort, but they had no theme. No cute Disney characters or any thing colorful. You do get the wonderful Disney lotion and a couple other amenities that you would not get at the budget based resort. If you are planning a family trip with children that love to see all of the Disney decorations, characters, etc. this would not be the place. It is a convention center so caters more towards adults and meetings. It would definitely be a nice place if you were a couple or a family with under twos. It is a fairly large property and where we stayed was over half of a mile from the main building where we had to walk in the morning past many people going to conferences to find a spot for breakfast. I would say, the trade-off is that the place was not packed with children. It was very calm and serene. The bus stop was close, and there were not many people on it so the trip to and from Magic Kingdom was a much simpler process than at the resorts that caters to families.

Our first time at Coronado, after staying at most WDW resorts over the last decade. Last week of July was as hot as can be but the resort was...empty? Especially after a few hectic days at Cabana Bay, the difference was staggering. Most rooms were empty and there was no convention so no influx of busybodyname tags. Our room was in Casitas, Building 5 with a very meh parking lot view. Resort is spread out but easily walkable due to the bridges over Lago Dorado. Food court and pool were a 10 minute stroll away. Bus stop 2 was a stone's throw away and service was on par with what we've experienced at other Moderate and Deluxe. The beautiful grounds inspire calm and provide a true vacation feeling. The main pool is fun and mayan themed. The slide was a hit with our ten year old (as were the virgin Pina Coladas at the pool bar!). Food at El Mercado, the quick service location has a slight mexican flair - everything was fresh, hot and many options outside the traditional burger-pizza lane. It has been recently renovated and feels clean and modern, a clean break from the more child focused aesthetics of the Value resorts. We explored the DVC tower and their high end dining and lounges which we will experience next time for sure.

Came in for a conference where I had booked our rooms WAY ahead of time. Got here early to find out, none of the rooms we had booked were available. After some time, was able to at least get a beautiful lake view room. After that, everything was great! The room was clean, and the housekeepers were fun. I came back to my room one day to a towel bird, and the next to an adorable elephant! They kept my coffee stocked, and the bathroom clean. The conference was here, along with several good restaurants. Can you believe I didn't use the pool once? But my colleagues did and they loved it!

The 'supervisor' on duty at the front desk informed me that their housekeeping team has a right to forceable entry to the room daily for a "visual check-in." Even if you request no housekeeping service, have the do not disturb sign on, AND you verbally ask them to go away, they can attempt entry. They claim this is not a 4th amendment violation since it is 'private property' and because they had a disclaimer in 4pt font on the app that you can see AFTER you've booked your stay when you check-in. The verbiage states "the hotel and its staff reserve the right to enter your room for any purpose including, but not limited to, performing maintenance and repairs, or checking on the safety and security of Guests and property. The hotel staff will give reasonable notice prior to entry by knocking and announcing the intent to enter the room." Now I'm not an attorney, but as a guest, I read that as they'd need to enter if there was a report of strange sounds coming from inside the room, or a guest went MIA and could be dead, or there was a water leak nextdoor, or electrical outage...not that I should expect a violation of privacy and possible exposure to COVID from the unmasked man who attempted to barge in!! There was no legitimate or reasonable reason to need to enter the room. I showed them I am alive. No one reported an issue coming from my room. Also, just because it says they'll 'attempt to notify you by knocking' what the heck-- they can just ignore your direction and enter still?? Apparently, they don't need just cause, and even though I had just showered and was not dressed and asked them to leave, they still tried to enter and Disney says they have that right due to this disclaimer! Luckily I had the deadbolt on. This happened both nights I was here. The first night I had literally just exited the shower and the second time I was napping. Both times I spoke with the man through the door and asked him to leave, both times he then attempted to open the door with his key!! I know he heard me because he responded both times. I did NOT feel safe or secure and as an immunocompromised person, I specifically requested no housekeeping to limit exposure to anything during my stay. I will NEVER stay on any Disney properties again. Plus the walls are so thin that it sounds like the person next door turned on MY TV at 4:30 am, not hers.

The theming of this hotel is fantastic and loved the pool and large hot tub. The quick service could do with some pizza late at night when you just want to get something easy to take back to the room. Buses from here to the resorts are very quick and easy, only Disney springs feels like some distance away. The reason I am giving 4 stars rather than 5 is the rooms need sound-proofing, we could hear every word of the conversation next door. They were just having a normal conversation, not even loud. Having said that, yes I would stay at this hotel again. It felt very upscale and relaxing in the grounds.

Great hotel, easy to get around and nice facilities. We stayed in a standard room I think, it did have a door leading to room next door so might have been called a famliy option. Only downside was for 3 nigths of stay someone stayed in room next door. Walls are like paper, could everyting going on. Lucky it was only 3 nights and that was it. Hotel was quite empty so this helped. Value for money is poor in relation to a normal hotel. It's only worth it for the early park enty and free transport. That made it worth it. Early entry saved so much time on rides.

CSR has always been our families favorite resort. We have returned year after year. When we first went my husband I were 18 and now we just celebrated our daughters 18th birthday there so we know the resort well. Years ago I would have given it a 5 now a 3. The renovated rooms are showing wear there are areas the wood is worn down, our drawers wouldn't even stay closed in dresser. As soon as we entered the room the door scan cover fell off. I still would stay at CSR despite these small issues as the resort is gorgeous however I will probably not return as the quick service food court has gone down hill tremendously. 2 years ago you would get fresh made pizza, 1 year ago premade flat bread with fresh toppings now its just frozen like pizza not good at all. The variety is gone pasta with red sauce only, fries only no more wedges, very limited menu. I was very disappointed my whole family was with the food. The prices are also ridiculous compared to other resorts. The pool / hot tub area was amazing as always. The buses were almost always empty (we were stop 4). Over all it was a great stay but I would like to see the 2021 menu back

The Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort had changed since the last time I stayed here. There was a new Gran Destino Tower where I booked a room at. From the MCO airport I arrived by black car where it is always the fastest option. I walked inside to gaze at the new hotel lobby and greeted by a cast member holding an iPad. This was the beginning of that magical Disney experience at Walt Disney World (WDW). She had all my information and more than what shows up in My Disney Experience app. She also explained how to use Genie+ and Lightning Lane Entry. She gave me card keys but also showed me how to use my phone to enter my room. Our room was ready when I arrived at 2:30 PM. The room itself was very nice and had two queen beds. Everything was in working order had a small refrigerator for drinks. The room was on the 4th floor and had a nice view of Lago Dorado Lake. This is considered a Moderate Resort Hotel but felt more luxurious with beautiful lobby and bar, grounds, and amenities. One of the benefits of staying at the Gran Destino Tower was the close proximity to the Disney Bus Transportation station. Busses only travel directly from this resort to the parks and Disney Springs. I was not sure about the water parks. There are four stops around this resort and that’s it. This resort is spread out so be prepared to walk a lot to the restaurants and pools. The food here is pretty good and at night popup bars appear. It was not crowded during my stay so felt nice to have a relaxing break from the parks. There are also daily activities for the kids at the pools and lawn. I noticed people staying here just hang out where can see many retiring from Disney Springs with shopping bags. It was very quiet and felt like an adult hotel.

Coronado Springs is a DELUXE resort at a moderate Disney price. The resort is stunning from top to bottom. Whether you stay at the Grand Destino Tower or the other villages, you are immersed in Mexican and South Western American beauty. This resort provides you with touches of Disney in a stylish (not in your face) way. The amenities on site are like nothing any other Disney resort offers. Multiple restaurant and bar opportunities, several pools, including the massive DIG SITE pool area that includes a splash pad for little kids, a playground, and a massive water slide. Many people often complain about this resort's size and transportation options. I can tell you that the size is NOT an issue. We stayed in the Cabanas and could walk to the Tower, Dig site, or El Centro in 3-5 minutes. Buses ALWAYS ran on their scheduled times, and the only wait home from a park we had was on July 4th after the fireworks at Epcot. If you are looking for a Disney vacation that can give you a great mix of park and resort days while experiencing a deluxe feel, then Coronado Springs is the resort for you!
