Hands down the best oyster place in Orlando. Inly downside is It’s a small restaurant and it’s not fancy or too appealing inside. But that all adds to the theme. If you sit at the bar you can get the bucket specials which is a great deal on oysters and they chuck it in front of you. The oysters are always fresh, great tasting, and big in size. Other than the oysters, the peel and eat shrimp steamed and wings are delicious.

Lee & Ricks is an amazing oyster bar. Don’t be put off by its shabby appearance on the outside. Inside you’ll find a gem of an oyster bar serving fresh iced oysters with cold beer. There are other things on the menu, but having delicious oysters opened in front of you makes for an amazing experience. Oysters are bargained priced for six or a dozen or a bucket. A fun experience as well.

The interesting history of this place is what drew our attention.

Although there were very few customers in the place.
It still took some time to be served. If it were any busier, we may have left.
After finally being acknowledged, our level of service greatly improved.
We ordered a bucket of oysters and soon found out that many of them far exceeded the size we were used to. Many too large to eat as a solo Oyster.
