Our waitress was excellent! However, when we arrived, restaurant was pretty empty and it took more than 10 minutes to be greeted by host. We waited another 10+ minutes when a waitress came over and said she would take the table since original waiter didn’t want to serve the table. This was the second consecutive time we were treated poorly at this establishment and will not return nor recommend to any more friends and family.

Nice, pleasant atmosphere. Steady flow of customers. Food was amazing!!! We didn’t leave a crumb. Probably would have licked the plate if that was socially acceptable.Sofia was our waitress and was wonderful! This is our new favorite place.

Wonderful, fresh and traditional Italian dishes! I Love family owned restaurants the most! Their heart is in every dish they prepare. If you haven’t experienced Mangia, what are you waiting for? Great value for such delicious food! The vibe is awesome, the wine selection more than pleasing and ending your meal with a hot cup of espresso and a delectable dessert is the cherry on the cake!

Food is delicious and authentic! I love how this restaurant did a complete transition from the nyc Italian American fare to full on Italian cuisine! Their food is made from scratch and fresh just like Italian food should be. Love most of the dishes, especially the Carbonara.Only issue is sometimes food can be a hit or miss. I ordered the stuffed mushrooms and they definitely tasted off, as if the ingredients weren’t as fresh. The torta della nonna cake was also very cold (like it had been frozen) and dry. Also I’ve had pretty dry and hard risotto that wasn’t great.Other than that the service is great and the restaurant is classy. Their calamari is also delicious and the lobster ravioli is to die for!

Shrimps on my pasta tasted so bad not fresh at all. Brushettas also were completely burnt and their answer to us was that it was the way they make it?‍♀️. Manager and the guy who welcomes you both with a really bad attitude as well. Never again.

Honestly this was the BEST Italian restaurant me and my family have been to! We’ve eaten on the beach and in small mom and pops but this tops everything! Our waitress knew all of the dishes and specials all by memory and was just so sweet and attentive the whole night, she was genuinely the best waitress I’ve ever had. She even came to the table with a candle and a tiramisu for my sister and we all sang happy birthday together. There was fresh bread the whole time and each dish was just the best. 100% will be coming back weekly!

This place was packed for a Thursday night. We were seated quick. The service was great the waitress was fast as she could be because there were not enough waitresses there. However, the food was delicious and large portions as well. To my surprise I really enjoyed the atmosphere, very chic and a vibe for Italy. The place is not too big just right for a more personal dinner time. The bread was enjoyed with the dipping they provided. The price is reasonable. Overall glad I ran into this place. I would for sure recommend to all who love Italian food. PEEP PEE: NOTE TO OTHERS.....The day I attended, there was a huge table with about 10. They had a boy who was very annoying. He was not a small child but more like 12. Just rude and obnoxious. If you can't control your child, you need to make arrangements for dinning out. Those who are trying to have a moment it can invade on their experience and leave a nasty taste in their mouth when they leave. That can affect on the reviews.
