Great experience at Mangione’s for dinner! I had the filet mignon with sweet potatoes and seasonal vegetables; husband had the mahi mahi with the same sides. Food was delicious and cooked perfectly, the server was polite and attentive and the atmosphere was nice. It was midweek during the school year, however, so I imagine it’s much more crowded during the busy season. Recommend!

This place is a gem. Do not pass on this place when staying at SOG. The mushroom ravioli was the most favorable I have ever tasted. My daughter had the salmon with garlic mashed potatoes and she said the absolute best salmon and potatoes EVER. 10/10 and the price was even better. Huge portions and delicious fresh bread with 3 take home desserts was 65.00!!! Thank you SOG for treating military families right.

Food took a very long time to arrive at our table. Nearly an hour. Small piece of fish dried out and was more than likely frozen prior to cooking. Green beans could have been cooked a bit longer as they were nearly fresh and crunchy. Really expensive place to wait that long for your food!

Amazing service! The staff is outstanding. We got in early and were able to check in early! They were extremely helpful with our bags and even provided a pack and play for our son. Every day we’d come back to our room with clean beds and towels and they’d even set up all of my daughter’s toys and she thought it was the greatest thing ever. Check out was a breeze! They definitely played a very large part in the success of our trip!
Waiter was excellent! Food, and appearance of the restaurant was terribly below standard.
i had a few great experiences here! we came here 3 times while staying at shades. i have celiac disease and they have an allergy menu! i got the gluten free penne and meat sauce and it was pretty good and i did not get sick any of the times i went. they also had gluten free bread and sauce! prices were very good as well. all three times we had daniela as our waitress and she was awesome. she remembered me and made sure i had gluten free bread, was a great waitress and just seemed very sweet in general. will definitely be coming back when i’m in town 😊

We visit this restaurant and definitely deserves a 10 out of the 10. The service, facilities and their food is amazing. If you're in the Disney area and want to experience a great dinner at an affordable price this is the place to go. Also, thanks to Gilberto (our server) he was super knowledgeable and honest. Definitely this place is a Most visit while in Disney.

Very Delicious food, my parents and I went to Manginos for our last day after a full week at Disney and was very impressed. Our waitress Annabella did a great job with the service she provided and I loved my salad I had gotten.
~ We will definitely be back ❤️.

Holy pepper Batman! Had a great steak last night ( 10 oz ribeye with 3shrimp special). Went back tonight to get the 10 oz NY Strip special. UNEATABLE because of excessive pepper, sent it back. still WAY over peppered. Sounds like a known problem with that particular chef. Get rid of him and stop serving bad meals. Really wish I could give a better rating because some of their stuff is very good. But when a customer has to send things back twice, and it happens often, then a restaurant deserves to be called out for poor leadership.
Casual and quiet Mediterranean inspired restaurant in the heart of Walt Disney World. The food was excellent, and the dessert was incredible. Open view restaurants of its kitchen.
Wonderful place in the US Military Hotel Complex.

My name is Dave and I was an original employee in 1994. I also worked for Disney for 35 years,so I had the best of both worlds. Shades of Green has a warm spot in my heart. I grew up in the military in Germany and visited the different R&R centers there, so when I heard the hotel was opening I applied. I was the bartender at the Garden Gallery Bar for 8 years until the hotel went down for renovation. I met so many people from a life I grew up in from all branches of the service. I was honored to meet WWII, Korea, Vietnam, Iraq, and Afghanistan veterans while I was there. The original hotel only had 350 rooms and after the renovation it’s what you see now. In my tenure there we were the envy of all the hotels because we were full all the time. For our military this hotel holds the same standards that our sister RR centers have in Hawaii, Germany, and Korea. It’s the best bargain in Orlando Florida. If you do go across the street to the Polynesian Hotel and enjoy Ohanas on the second floor you and I will have traveled the same ground going back to 1976 when I started as a busboy.
First time visitors. We stopped in Shades if Green to visit the Magnolia Day Spa (fabulous) and found out about Mangino's. They hit a great balance on the Italian theming. The chairs were comfortable for patrons of all sizes. Everything was spotlessly clean. A warm loaf of bread was brought to the table. I had the mushroom soup and John the French onion. We both had steak. It was the best meal I've had on this vacation. Wait staff was polite, attentive and knew their craft well. I think we will have to stop in again to try another offering. #ADA #military #steak #holiday #cheese #shadesofgreen
