Great prices on food beverages and there's an arcade. The menu is fantastic and a great break from all the theme parks. Amazing!. It overlooks the multiple kiddie pools but primarily the water slides. Everyone is very nice, very accommodating and friendly. It's a great place for the parents to grab a cocktail and then sit by the pool. Will the kids party. I'd give Shades 3.5 stars. Like others have said, it is exactly what you expect. The property and the rooms are older, but well kept. The staff is friendly and the food is fine. We only tried the breakfast to go downstairs and the coffee/ice cream shop upstairs. Both were easy and convenient. The busses were also easy and conenient and got us to and from the parks with no problems. If you are looking for a very reasonably priced, no frills hotel near Disney - Shades is for you!
