Amazing service! The staff is outstanding. We got in early and were able to check in early! They were extremely helpful with our bags and even provided a pack and play for our son. Every day we’d come back to our room with clean beds and towels and they’d even set up all of my daughter’s toys and she thought it was the greatest thing ever. Check out was a breeze! They definitely played a very large part in the success of our trip!
My name is Dave and I was an original employee in 1994. I also worked for Disney for 35 years,so I had the best of both worlds. Shades of Green has a warm spot in my heart. I grew up in the military in Germany and visited the different R&R centers there, so when I heard the hotel was opening I applied. I was the bartender at the Garden Gallery Bar for 8 years until the hotel went down for renovation. I met so many people from a life I grew up in from all branches of the service....
First time visitors. We stopped in Shades if Green to visit the Magnolia Day Spa (fabulous) and found out about Mangino's. They hit a great balance on the Italian theming. The chairs were comfortable for patrons of all sizes. Everything was spotlessly clean. A warm loaf of bread was brought to the table. I had the mushroom soup and John the French onion.
