Super excellent food, delicious, the place is very comfortable, clean but the customer treatment is terrible, long faces and terrible reluctance.

The employees were horrible, all with long faces and a bad attitude. The food was very different from how they started. I didn't like it. I won't return. I don't recommend it.

I'm so annoyed that I have to bother to right this bc it's almost a joke , attached is photo . I order pork chops and this is exactly how I received order. Actually put macaroni salad on top of my rice and meat that is not pork chop. We have ordered alot from here and catered many times. Always packaged on side same with potato salad

I had never tried Puerto Rican cuisine. I ordered the Mofongo Camarones Salsa. They told me it will take about 10 minutes to cook. I was happy to wait for freshly cooked food!I did not have time to eat in the restaurant. The food smelled so good, it took straight will power to not taste test it in the truck!!When I finally tried it, I was so excited. A couple guys walked by and said the food seemed delicious what was it and where was it from, they went that night to order their dinner. The food is extremely flavorful and the garlic butter sauce is so good!I’ll definitely eat here again the next time I’m In the area.Thank you Matt’s!

The relleno de papa and alcapuria are definitely worth the money. Love it here. I always stop by when I am in the area. Definitely recommend this place. Matt's Latin BBQ gets 5 stars.Parking: The front parking lot is always full but for some reason the side parking always have plenty of available parking spots.

I had given them a bad review because I never received a chicken via Uber but I deleted it because it must have been a mistake in my order, and today I give them an excellent one because yesterday I visited their business and I received good treatment from the employees and the food was delicious and a clean environment ?Thank you and I'll be back soon…

What can I say? Foods spot on and delicious! The spice rubs on the pernil and chicken OH EM GHEEE! We will be back. I wish there was a place more local to us of this quality or trying to talk to the owner about opening a location more local to Deltona. There’s no place around here to get this restaurant quality food here. The menu was huge with a ton of options. I ordered the tripleta. It was amazing and I ate half and was stuffed. But I had to order and bring extra food home. The dining room was comfortable and spacious. Had enough room to even have a family or work party. Plus, I heard he does some catering as well. Great decor, quality music playing. The restaurant was very clean as well as the bathrooms. Tons of drink options that many places do not offer. Even the take out containers weren’t the cheap styrofoam. This guys doing things right!!!!Dietary restrictions: Lots of choicesKid-friendliness: Pleasant family atmosphereWheelchair accessibility: Yes

I’m not quite sure what the other people below are saying, I am here with my Puerto Rican girlfriend and her family and we all loved it! Anyone saying “this isn’t Puerto Rican cooking” is simply wrong, because this is above and beyond anything any of us have tried (and her family are native to Puerto Rico). The Mofongo was hot, steamy, and absolutely wonderful. Anyone who said it was dry obviously didn’t take a bite of it fresh, they likely waited to take a bite of it or forgot to order a soup with it to pour broth over it, which is generally what is done in Puerto Rican cuisine (it’s also mashed plantains, plantains aren’t exactly juicy LOL)The alcapurrias were amazing and crispy, the carne fritas were juicy, and the arroz con gandules was also beyond anything I have had (and lemme tell ya, my girlfriend’s family can cook, it’s saying something that all of this was better than anything they have made)Lastly, the Chicharron Frite, WOW the richness, absolutely incredible. If you are a pork belly fan, this is a MUST HAVE. The only type of person who wouldnt love this is someone who thinks bacon-ets chicharron from a gas station is real chicharron. We will definitely be back, and I encourage anyone who didn’t like this place to give it another try and really try to appreciate it for what it is. If you aren’t from Puerto Rico, I’m sure the owner would give you his recommendations on what to try and what pairs with each item.

(9/5/2023) We got an delivery order to our workplace during the workweek. My boricua co-worker was very interested in trying this place out and she was looking forward to the campesino-style food. I'm a persistent over-orderer since I want to try all the things. I got a quarter roasted chicken, it was initially moist, seasoned on the salty side. I basically did dunk everything in garlic oil, as I do love the garlic oil. I enjoyed the boiled yucca, with garlic oil. The mofongo was super dense and somewhat bland and very starchy. It may just be that I do not really like mofongo. I've been trying it over and over again just to check if it's me (and I think it's me, also, I am not boricua). Overall, it was an OK meal.
