The food was good and at a fair price. I had shrimp hibachi and my fiancee had poke. Both tasted fine. But we ordered to-go and my hibachi order was leaking a pool of sauce into the bag (because it was in a basic styrofoam container). When I brought it back to be re-plated and bagged the cashier was angry and asked "do you want to send it back?" repeatedly. All I wanted was a box without holes in it! On the second try they gave me a plastic, sealed container and everything was fine. I didn't appreciate being treated as if I was in the wrong for wanting a bag that wasn't full of sauce.

We were glad a new restaurant came to town. I ordered take out for 4 of us for lunch. ALL 4 of us, simultaneously said it together, horrible. Their idea of fried rice is white sticky rice drenched in soy sauce, nothing else. Two of us had shrimp teriyaki, one had chicken and the other steak. The most tasteless food we've had in Baldwin Park. We threw out all four lunches, and it's not inexpensive either. I suspect this restaurant will not last long. Sorry guys, but when 4 different people with different tastes all said the same and immediately dumped the lunches in the trash I bought, that bothered me.

Although the name says Ocean Poke, this place has literally some of the best chicken teriyaki/hibachi that i have ever had!! Seriously amazing. The poke is good too, but the teriyaki really got me

Did this place close down? I went on a Thursday at 11:50 and it was closed.. online it says it opens at 11 and on the door it says the same thing.

Truly "okay" at best. They don't use sushi rice, spite their advertising that they do. The prices are pretty high for the portions they have (I have no clue what everyone else ordered that is raving about their "great portions" but it's definitely not the medium bowl).Most of their ingredients, rice included, are pretty bland. The whole bowl tasted like nothing.There was nothing truly "bad" (besides the portions), but there was certainly nothing good about this place, either.
TERRIBLE experience. Ordered a medium bowl with 3 proteins for delivery. Only received a SMALL portion of 2 proteins and one was left out all together. The sliver of avocado in my bowl was completely rotten. I called to speak with the manager but the rude employee that answered the phone refused to put him on the phone. She claimed he didn’t speak English. When I began to tell her what was wrong with my order she would correct me and tell me that I (the customer) was wrong and my order was not as I described. Totally unprofessional and unbelievable. She also claimed that the manager was also the owner so any complaints needed to be translated by her to him. He apparently offered me (through her) a half refund. When I said that wasn’t acceptable, she hung up on me. Save yourself the time and aggravation and just go to SusHI Eatstation up the road or many of the other Poke options. This place is a disaster.

This was an awful experience. We ordered to-go bowls - one with chicken (TINY amount with rice, VERY overpriced) and one with seafood, which, (I should've stuck to my gut!!!), was a very very bad idea considering the place had no AC and the seafood was just there out on the open. Needless to say, I didn't eat much after tasting their shrimp. Even the mango was bad.I don't understand the high reviews. Perhaps it was different when those people went? We went there a few days ago.Will not be going back :(. Too bad, the concept is great and I was so excited when I read the menu.

I absolutely love this place. We only ever do takeout and haven’t tried delivery. I think it’s easier to order in person because there are so many options. The sushi is fresh and delicious. They have a ton of toppings to create a gorgeous poke bowl filled with fresh veggies, seaweed salad, yummy spicy sauces, and fruits. It’s very healthy, tasty, well priced, and quick for a perfect lunch!

I've only done carryout here, but everything has always been fresh and delicious. Service is quick but both times I went I was the only customer. I will likely keep coming here for lunch!
