If you're staying in either the French Quarter, you can't miss this, and if you're staying at Port Orleans Riverside like I was, the beignets were worth the boat ride. Absolutely delicious and they will definitely be a factor for when I decide where to stay next time I visit the Disney World Resort.
We’ve always loved taking a boat here for lunch and beignets, but were a little disappointed in them both this time. The food was a little dry, and the “beignets” were just a donut covered in powdered sugar. I was also a little disappointed that they are no longer serving strawberry sauce as a dipping option.
This restaurant/cafeteria was perfect for our group of 8. They had such a wide variety of food that no one had trouble choosing something they loved. The attendants were helpful in showing us how to use our dining plan (this was our first restaurant) and the food was delightful!
