You definitely pay for the ambiance. The chef was amazing and quite entertaining. Staff was very courteous. The prices are a bit high and dining plan users will eat up 2 table services here so be aware. GOOD FOOD😁👍

No fried rice or soup included in the hibachi meal. Rest of the food is just okay. We were rushed through the experience. Pricing is disney pricing so I wont complain about that. Was still hungry after.

We’ve been to Teppan Edo many times and loved it. but we have noticed their food and the whole experience is just okay now, but the price is going up. They offer no discount for dinner for AP, DVC or CMs. We got our veggies and a few noodles (way less than we used to get) about 10 minutes before we got our meat. By then, we ate the veggies and noodles and the bowl of rice was cold. The chef was great, but the waitress seemed a bit scattered. For the price, the service and food should be amazing.

the service was excellent!
the food was good, but i really don’t understand why everything was practically drowned in butter and other cooking oils.
for an example, i got the salmon entree. salmon can be fantastic without adding 1lb of butter and a bunch of other added cooking ingredients. obviously the meals will taste good if it is in a bunch of cooking sprays. i would love to see a more holistic approach & less of the butter as well.

The food and general atmosphere were quite good but the hibachi experience -- and particularly the show -- was severely lacking. There was very little in way of a show, no tricks, no fire, and nothing fun for the kids to enjoy. It was also very noisy so it was hard to hear anything the chef was saying to us.

So, I was super excited to eat at this restaurant but I was sadly mistaken. I had no idea that the restaurant was hibachi style ( which was no big deal but took me by surprise, my fault), the waiter would give stares of disgust and disrespect, which is quite surprising. My daughter ordered some sushi and didn't get it until I asked about it.
The hibachi dude throw the salt shaker for the show, but the real show was him missing and almost hitting someone in the face. This happened twice. To say the least, that was quite entertaining.
The food was mediocre at best. There were more onions than udon but the shrimp and steak, they were awesome.
It was so uncomfortable being here and I don't recommend it at all.
Teppan Edo: Can you stop serving faces of disgust with your tasteless udon?

It's a bit loud, and that's where my complaints end. The food is excellent and generous, and our server, Miku, was extremely attentive the entire time - to an extent I am honestly not familiar with. Cannot recommend this place enough, and Miku is an outstanding server!!

Extremely rude hosts and very nasty and disrespectful. Chicken was horrific and could not eat. $50 a person and could not eat the food with a very subpar experience. No views, disrespectful staff, minimal food, no showmanship and very expensive. Waste of time and will NEVER eat at this establishment again.

Food quality is low. Order their best Wagyu steak and they cooked up some old brown meat. Tasted like $10 grocery store steak. They made no effort to resolve the issue with me. Dinner show was weak.

Restaurantji Recommends
As a local and annual pass holder, I have been to many restaurants at Disney. Hibachi is particularly one of my favorite meals so I am going to be a bit harsh.
This food is very good. The service is great also.
However the place is very expensive for the portion size you get. I know this is not a shocker for those who eat at Disney restaurants, but the hibachi is the same quality as other places and it’s like double the price.
Overall it is a good place but if you have limited time and looking for something unique while at Disney world I’d recommend another restaurant. If you only have one choice I’d recommended Biergarten or Le Cellier steakhouse

We had a terrible experience here last night. The food had no flavor and very bland. Just tasted like we were eating a tablespoon of salt. The portions were so small for the money and it was a big disappointment. Our chef was “nice” but no show like you pay for and not one thing was Disney related. We have gone in the past and it was a completely different experience. The place is like a factory just rushing large tables of people in and out.

My drink was nice and the salad was good and that’s about all.
My veggies were burned, portions were small. No show was given at all, quite boring, and I got massive attitude from the staff. Oh, and she came back asking for a bigger tip….
My daughter spit out most of her food.
Waste of money, would not recommend. Spend it elsewhere.
Will never recommend this restaurant. Wish I could get my money and time back honestly.

Had such a fun time, food was great and their beer with the orange was delicious! One of the highlights of our trip for my 6 year old daughter!
