The Boathouse

The boathouse is our favorite restaurant and bar to go to at Disney Springs. We love sitting outside at the bar. The ambience is great. The vibe is fun and magical. The drinks are amazing and we split multiple appetizers as a meal. It’s our special go-to place as a couple 💕

My husband and I came here on Sunday and had the most lovely experience! We were seated outside and the view was great. He got the jumbo lump crab cake and I had the NY steak and fries, both meals were a 10/10 but what really tipped the experience was our server Ivan, he was knowledgeable friendly and genuinely gave the best service I have had in years, We will certainly be going back every year and I highly recommend asking for Ivan when you go too!

Buff is a WONDERFUL server! We have had him multiple times and he’s great! Attentive, polite, and gives great recommendations! Great food, great service! We love The Boathouse!

Overall, good food but we waited almost 1 hour for our food to come out. we saw tables which were seated after us get their food first. We specifically told our waiter to NOT wait until all the dishes were ready and to just bring them out as they came out, so we were quite disappointed by the wait.

Excellent:
- cedar planked Grilled salmon: sweet glazed and delicious. The broccolini on the side was also deliciously seasoned.
- complimentary house bread rolls: the cinnamon sugar glazed rolls are die for!

Good:
- the filet mignon sliders were SO tender and the bun was so buttery, but it was a tad dry and it could have used some sauce.

Skip:
- The lobster roll was sadly underseasoned and didn’t have a strong lobster flavor.
- The garden salad was also underseasoned and the grilled shrimp we added on top was nothing special.

Omg My Husband and I ate at The Boathouse for our first time and it was INCREDIBLE thanks to Marcus. He gave us a true Candlelight dinner and made the most delicious suggestions to us. Their Lobster Bisque was EXQUISITE Just as Marcus told us it was. And the Coconut Shimp were HUGE, these weren't no Shrimp these were Prawns and Beyond anything called Coconut Shimp that I had in the past these need a Completely different name they are that good and the perfect dipping sauce. My husband had the Shrimp Boil and it was everything Southern that dish is ment to be. Bright and Fresh Corn on the Cob, perfect little Red Potatoes and again these Huge chunks of Sausage and Shimps it was big enough we could have shared it.
And the Honey Cinnamon Butter Rolls were super soft and melt in your mouth good. Anyone looking for a beautiful restaurant for a family or comfortable but elegant date night Go See Marcus at The Boathouse and have him set you up for an incredible meal too.
