If I could I would give an absolute 0 stars to this restaurant. The reason why I had always returned is because my son likes it very much but this is not the first, not the last, and absolutely not the only sushi restaurant out there.

Every single time is the same thing. I'm a mom of three who's always with my kids, so I always place the orders online for pick up so it's easier for me, but if anything, it makes my life even harder. Food is NEVER ready, Even if I pick up at the time it says it will be ready, it never is, even if I pick up 10, 15, 20 minutes later, food is NEVER ready, and the absolute worst part is that I get talked back in the worst and rudest way because I politely ask how much longer for the food that 1. I paid to receive and 2. Is not ready at the time it says it will be.

Today my oldest is sick and asked me to buy him sushi from this place, which is why I placed the order, and once again, it wasn't ready. When I arrived today at 7:40 PM (8 minutes for the order to be ready), I was told, again, in the rudest way possible that it would be 30 more minutes!!! Knowing I placed this at 7:11 PM, by 7:40 it wasn't ready and I was told 30 more minutes, so 8:10 PM?

It takes them an hour to get this food ready? if that's so, that information should be disclosed for the public to make an informed decision and not lied to and to top it all up, not even get an apology for the delays.

Open public business lives thanks to THE PUBLIC. = THE CUSTOMER and this establishment has no clue what so ever what customer service is.

Initially was headed to the downtown location, however they're closed on Mondays and Tuesdays. The Narcossee location is inside of the super market. Service was still great atmosphere was that of a supermarket. Highly recommend. We got the big platter. It was about $80. Well worth it.

We visited last saturday. We are sushi lovers and fans. We have visited few nice sushi places. We love creative sushi. Their menu is interesting and inviting. The appetizer was flavorful and fresh. The Escobar Sushi is very creative and we really like it. It did not even need any soy sauce. The pieces of churrasco were not soft. However, since they were bite size, it was not a deal breaker. To our preference, a better quality and/or thinner slices would make experience more enjoyable.
The rockstar was our server, Michael. Super frendly, knowledgeable, attentive and happy. Just because of him, my wife and me, will go back again. I trully believe that without his energy the experience would be different. His attitude and energy should be duplicate. It was worth the travel time to get there. Thanks for your existence, see you soon!

March’s ladies’ monthly meetup called for good vibes and even better food, so we decided to grab sushi at The Escobar Kitchen (Downtown location).

Upon arrival, the outside signage immediately caught our attention with weekly specials and a convenient QR code for easy ordering. Once inside, the ambiance matched what you’ll see in my photos and videos casual, lively, and perfect for a girls’ catch-up night.

Now, let’s talk service. I’d rate it as mid. Our waitress wasn’t necessarily rude, but there wasn’t much effort to engage. She handed us menus and asked for drink orders, but didn’t offer guidance or ask if it was our first time. A little more warmth or recommendations especially when it comes to their unique rolls would’ve elevated the experience.

As for the food… this is where they shine.

I ordered the Caribbean Roll and the El Pollo Loco Roll, and both delivered. The Caribbean Roll, made with Spanish yellow rice, chicken teriyaki, sweet plantains, and cream cheese, was a standout sweet, savory, and perfectly balanced. The El Pollo Loco Roll, with white rice, chicken, teriyaki cream cheese, topped with sweet plantains and teriyaki sauce, was just as flavorful. The sweet plantains really take both rolls to the next level. I paired it with a Coke to keep it simple.

Overall: 4.5/5 ⭐️
The food definitely carries this spot, but the service could use a bit more personality and attentiveness.

Would I return? Absolutely.
Next stop: checking out their Lake Nona location.

Thought it was a sit down restaurant but it turned out to be more like an express type of service. Food was good service was good also. Did not notice that it was inside a supermarket until we got there and the GPS told us. Would have like to be able to sit and enjoy my meal served on a plate.

Escobar Kitchen is an absolute delight. The food is incredibly flavorful, and the service is done with utmost care. I highly recommend trying their special dish.

The only minor concern I have is the location. It’s situated inside a supermarket, which may not be the most ideal setting. However, they’ve managed to find a good spot there.

I frequently shop At the bravo and never noticed the restaurant that Escobar kitchen. So I took a chance and made an order. There was a guy Chris who was there that I didn’t realize worked at that restaurant telling me that I wouldn’t regret going to try the food there. So I gave it a chance and.The lady Mary came out and helped me with the order and the decision on what to choose. I am absolutely glad that I did. So she suggested a fan favorite, which is called the Escobar roll.

Then that guy Chris came back and he was the actual chef that made the roll so I watched him in real time created, and I was definitely pleased with each layer that was added to the roll. As soon as I got into my car, I tried this dish and I was a blown away. It was absolutely amazing. The flavors from the sauces to taste in the plantain to the avocado to the meat. You could taste each individual even though you’re eating it all together. I must say that I will definitely stop at the restaurant the Escobar kitchen inside of bravo every single time I go to bravo.

I came to Escobar Kitchen around 3:30 PM and ended up waiting over 40 minutes to place my order because the employees were on a break. It would be really helpful if the hours on Google Maps were updated so people don’t waste their time waiting. Ordered the Mar & Tierra sushi roll and the General Tso ribs because I kept seeing great reviews on TikTok… not worth the hype :(

A Latin vibe with an Asian presentation Lol. Its Spanish food in a sushi roll, that's awesome! The place is pretty good. The only thing I didnt care for was its inside the Bravo supermarket. The family and I still enjoyed it, but just threw me off a bit. Was just expecting a small restaurant thats all. But now that I know this, perfect spot for a quick roll

It’s a quits place with a warm atmosphere. They sushi is some of the best I’ve ever had. Me being from the pacific northwest that’s saying something. The Latin twist on their menu is perfection. The service was amazing.

The food was really good. My only complaint is the portion size. The rice is more like a side than an entree. I understand there’s meat in the rice, although more yellow rice could have been added to at least give the illusion of it being a full entree.
