Had a wonderful time with our server, Stephanie. She was an attentive listener who was able to provide recommendations that fit and accommodated our particular cravings and interests. Service was professional yet still personable, with a welcoming touch. The manager on duty, Dani - over heard that we were originally going out for Wings - and she had the chef whip us up some delicious, juicy, spicy wings served with a generous portion of bleu cheese - above and beyond. Ended up at the bar for a delicious Night Cap with Toshie - even tho it was late and I'm sure she closing tasks - she was attentive, personable and gracious. Johnny from the Espresso Bar let us try a new milk punch he was working on - was really impressed with his knowledge and passion. Milk Punch Mocktail FTW.

Forst time here but will return. Although the menu is a little limited the food was outstanding. The fried chicken was perfect and I could not finish it. Mac and cheese was great. My wife had the fried meatloaf. It sounds ordinary but was anything but. the service was spot on. Overall a great dinner in a beautiful setting.

Not our first visit and certainly not the last. Enjoy the atmosphere and enjoy the food is very good. Always hard to choice anything other than the fried chicken...maybe with more visits and here will be more opportunities to explore. Our party enjoyed a couple apps and entrees.

As always, the good was delicious — I tried the new grilled zucchini and it was a hit. Plus the cocktails are always perfectly balanced and styled. But the best thing was the service. Molly and Dani (managers) were delightful. The hostesses (including Caroline who was brand new) were enthusiastic and made us feel instantly welcomed. And the bar staff who served us were attentive without being annoying, were able to describe the food items brilliantly (even though some items were very new), and made us feel like we were the most important guests there (which I presume they did for everyone else, too)! We especially felt well-served by Amanda and Lance. Overall it was a magical evening. 😊
celebrated my 21st birthday here, we felt ignored and had to ask to order our items. everything took at least 20 minutes to come out after ordering even though the restaurant wasn't full. our waiter was nice but nothing above average overall the ambience and food were pretty good but service was nothing special would maybe come back for a happy hour special at the bar if anything. disappointed to say the least.

Saw that The Monroe was a James Beard finalist and I am SO glad that I checked it out! The atmosphere is so casual, but not trashy, think Jimmy Buffet Key West. The service was friendly, but the star is the farm to table food! OMG! Absolutely amazing! If you are near downtown, you must go!
