“I am back after a few years. The food is still delicious, 5 ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️
Our server, Kimo, 5 ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️
He is full of energy, explained the dishes, gave us suggestions and was very attentive.
My favorite from his suggestions, Maguro Truffle, Sticky Ribs, Hawaii XO Roll and the Double Tekka Roll. For dessert we had the Ube Cheese Cake. Sweet, smooth, perfect to share with two. Yes! I would order it all again.
The ambiance, 4 ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️
The decor is cheeky/romantic with dim lights. But noise level was pretty high. It’s ok if you are sitting right next to each other. I can hear larger parties speaking louder to be able to carry a conversation.
Restroom situation, 2 ⭐️ ⭐️
There is 1 bathroom for females and 1 bathroom for males. I didn’t really noticed it until the line came out of the bathroom area and people were standing near our table. When I needed to use it, wow, I was next in line but it took forever. Something to consider upgrading or maybe make them unisex so both stalls can be used.
The restaurant added a lounge next door. It has its own door or you can access through the restaurant. It also has its own cocktail menu that you can order from while dining.
These are suggestions for improvement but not important enough to stop me from coming back.“

“My husband found this gem online and figured we’d enjoy it since we are fans of shareable and tapas style dishes. Brendan (sp?) was our server. He was kind and attentive. The food options were healthy, fun, and creative. I especially enjoyed the dumplings and my husband devoured his mochi Wangz. We also tried Mr. Rice Guy which didn’t quite give the oomph we were looking forward to. Drunken Belly was pretty decent (a few pieces were a tad too fatty to fully enjoy). We’d 100% go back for the atmosphere and aesthetics alone. Service was phenomenal and the vibes were super chill.“

They have great soups and salads that will fill the void and are easy and quick eats and taste great. You can eat inside or outside but the seating is limited. “Amazing is the only one word that comes to our minds. The restaurant itself is very modern looking but has that touch of Thai to make us feel at home. And the star of the show besides the great cooks was Pen! She was so awesome and sensor from her greeting at the door to her interactions with my two daughters. “Jackie was our waitress today at Nona Blue. Jackie has waited on us before, because we go to Nona Blue quite often. Is my family‘s favorite restaurant in the area, and has been for many years. Jackie is the best waitress ever. She is not only cute and sweet and fun, but she is a very hard worker. She completely takes care of her people. “Kaya is absolutely incredible. The atmosphere inside is super chill and welcoming, and everyone we met was beyond friendly. My very first interaction was an employee noticing my Kain Na shirt—they loved it, which instantly made me feel at home. Now, the food… is there even a word better than “delicious”? Because every single thing we ordered was exquisite. My wife fell head over heels for the Sisig, my kid devoured the Filipino spaghetti, and the Kalamansi-misu for dessert was the perfect sweet finish. The Kare Kare was so tender the oxtail literally fell apart as soon as we tried to pick it up, and that sauce? Absolutely to die for. I’ve had most of these dishes before, but one thing I’d never tried was the Adobo risotto—and wow. It left me speechless. Truly incredible. The best part? Kaya made my family feel like part of their family. The whole experience felt like being at a Filipino family gathering—minus the karaoke (which we found out they actually do on Sundays!). When we packed up our leftovers, we discovered a sweet surprise: a little postcard explaining Kaya’s story, plus two stickers—one with a handwritten note thanking us for making them a stop on our Orlando trip. This place has everything you want in a night out—a stylish, lounge-like vibe; creative, delicious cocktails; mind-blowing food; and friendly, attentive staff. The oysters are hands-down some of the best we’ve ever had; the moriawase sashimi and nigiri are unbelievably fresh and a flavor journey we didn’t think could be topped…until the ghost roll arrived and blew us away. “We already love Shin Jung, but, sadly, we aren’t there as often as I’d like. The food is fantastic, atmosphere is casual but comfortable and the service is friendly and efficient. I had the Dolsot Bibimbab served in a steaming, sizzling hot pot—beef, mushrooms, sprouts, cucumbers and shredded g carrots and radish. It was delicious on its own but adding the table sauces made it sing. Along with entrees comes a variety of Korean sides as is typical for this cuisine. It included, fish cakes, potato salad, paper thin sliced pickled radish and three Kimchi preparations—classic cabbage, as well as cubes of cucumber and radish. If the food wasn’t enough, our server, Julianna, made our lunch all the more pleasurable with her sweet demeanor and friendly nature. And it wasn’t just us. We watched how she served other diners with the same affable, yet professional treatment. Remember when I said we don’t get there very often? Well, when we walked in, Julianna (without knowing us at all) greeted us like we were regulars coming in for the hundredth time. The rooms are absolutely clean and modern, step outside, and you can walk right to the Welborn kitchen bar and outside dining area. This place is fantastic. I hope nobody reads this review because I want it all myself.. dining was exquisite, and the cocktails are marvelous … There may be a monster in my meal.“

“Who-hash was very good, very hot (including the can which we were warned about), but it is very pricy for what it is. We wished there was a way we could save the can, especially for the price to keep as a memento, but it was unfortunately way too gooey to save and haul around.

Big downside is the staff is not the best at customer service when compared to the other “magic” within the Universal staffing.“

“Backwater Bar is co-located with Confisco restraunt. This is a great place to walk in and get you H2O water or you favorite adult beverage. It is a full service walk up bar with lots of beer, wine, and they can make the liquor drink of your choice. There is no seating inside, but they have shaded seating just outside the door. The staff is friendly and want you to have a nice experience.“

“I recommend this hotel but not Amatista’s Cookhouse. My family was very disappointed. We ordered a whole rotisserie chicken that cost $50. We expected the chicken to feed three people. We were shocked to see the size of the chicken that was brought to our table as it was extremely small. Not only was the chicken tough to break apart to put on our plates, but it was also hollow in the middle, lacking meat. This restaurant should be ashamed of themselves for charging $50 for what they call a whole rotisserie chicken when it didn’t appear to even be half of a rotisserie chicken. Also, we never received bread and butter at all, during our dining experience, which I believe was included with our meals. To say we are disappointed is an understatement however, we will never be dining at this restaurant again.“

“Had a wonderful meal after the day at the parks. The Airline Chicken and burger were great! Jonathan was our server and made us feel right at home. The executive chef talked with us for a long time.
