It seems like opinions about Disney’s Michelin star restaurant are split between the Disney die-hards who can only see it as magic and those who find the place overpriced for what it offers. As someone who finds a restaurant less appealing if visiting it requires me to brave the crowds and chaos of Orlando theme park land, please hear me when I say that this restaurant is awesome.
After waking up at 5:55am to unsuccessfully attempt to snag a reservation, we signed up for a free MouseDining account and—this is where the magic comes in—happened to score a reservation for the Queen Victoria room. One of our servers mentioned that calling and asking to be placed on the waitlist can be a good way to do it, but patience is required either way.
Arriving at the Grand Floridian, we had to wait in a line of cars to get through the security gate. This process took about 5 minutes. Security asked for a driver’s license and last name on the reservation before waving us on to the hotel valet. From there, the restaurant can be accessed on the second floor, down a hallway and to the left of the check in kiosk for another dining place. We were greeted by name and welcomed into the dining room and guided to our table. They had a small ottoman/stool set up which was super convenient for setting down a purse, sweater, etc. Such a nice touch! The seats were incredibly comfortable and the wallpaper is this beautiful, cushiony fabric with intricate details that helped to dampen some of the sound.
We were fortunate to have Jenna and James taking care of us, with visits from Maître d’hôtel Israel Pérez and other team members. The hospitality they extended to us was really incredible. From describing each dish or zero proof drink to answering questions with proud enthusiasm to the perfect balance of checking in on us and being there when we needed while otherwise giving us space to enjoy things, there’s really nothing more I could ask for.
Having tried a few fine dining tasting menus in Orlando, one thing that stands out about the dining experience (other than a live harpist!!) in the Queen Victoria room at Victoria & Albert’s is the portion sizes. I don’t think I’ve ever felt so full after a chef’s tasting menu, which may help to explain the price point beyond the “Disney tax,” so to speak. Each course offered more than just a bite or two; you get to really savor the dishes for a few minutes before hitting the bottom of the bowl.
Everything was prepared and plated with precision and skill. The creativity of each course stands out as well, with excellent zero proof pairings that enhance the flavor and complement everything from ingredients to colors and textures. Everything tasted fantastic, and they do such a great job of pacing the courses so that you get plenty of time to enjoy without feeling like you’re wondering when the next dish will arrive.
While our budget and (the near Olympic sport of securing reservations) really doesn’t allow us to visit more than like once a year, this is definitely somewhere I’d be thrilled to go to again in the future. Victoria & Albert’s deserves 2 Michelin stars for sure, and it’s no wonder they’ve been a AAA five diamond restaurant for so long. We went in with tempered expectations based on other reviews and just the Disney vibe that isn’t quite our thing, but we left feeling like our expectations had been far exceeded, in a bit more of a joyful Disney spirit than we’d probably care to admit ;)

What an incredible dining experience this turned out to be! From the atmosphere, the presentation, the wines, the food, the service, and the company, everything was perfect!
We were promptly greeted at the entrance of the restaurant and escorted to our table. Everyone there knew it was my wife's 40th birthday, and wished her a happy birthday.
The atmosphere was so relaxed and upscale with a phenomenal harp player who just made it better. The decor was beautiful and the personalized envelope with the menu inside a very nice gesture!
Our servers Matt and Christina truly went above and beyond to ensure that we had such an incredible dining experience! They were extremely professional, knowledgeable, and very personable!
The sommelier and GM Israel and Rado were both very attentive and courteous. The wine selection was insanely huge, and everything we tried was delicious. My wife ended up doing the wine pairing (additional $155), which was the equivalent to about 2 1/2 glasses. Great pairings, and bit pricey though.
Every courses we had were perfectly prepared with dietary needs for each of us. The plate presenations were spectacular and everything was delicious. My personal favorite had to be the Ox Tail, just AMAZING! My wife loved the lamb and my friend the Wagyu!
Yes, it is the most expensive dining experience in Orlando, but absolutely worth it. The attention to details is bar none, and the service is top notch. Two thumbs way up to the incredible team of Victoria & Albert's for such an outstanding evening!

If you're looking for a dining experience that truly goes above and beyond in Disney World, Victoria & Albert’s is the crown jewel! 🏆✨ This Michelin-star restaurant is like nothing else you’ll find on property—or anywhere, really. It's a one-of-a-kind experience from the moment you step inside.
The Food: Next-Level Gourmet
The food here is so magical, even Remy from Ratatouille would be impressed! 🧑🍳🐭 Every dish is prepared with such precision and creativity that it could easily be a showstopper in the kitchen of Gusteau’s. The Wagyu beef and teff macaroni were absolute highlights—so tender and rich that you might think Fairy Godmother sprinkled a little extra pixie dust over the plate. ✨ Trust me, you’ll be humming “Be Our Guest” after every bite. 🍽️🔥
Ambiance: Elegant and Magical
Victoria & Albert’s gives you that exclusive, magical Disney touch with a sophisticated twist, like Cinderella attending a royal ball. The service? It's like having your very own team of Genie—completely at your service, making every wish come true. 🏰 The elegant atmosphere transports you away from the park hustle and bustle, and into a world where Lumière might just be lighting the candles for dinner. 💫 It’s Disney magic, elevated to gourmet levels!
Reservations: A Little Pixie Dust Goes a Long Way
Getting a reservation can feel like tracking down Aladdin’s magic carpet—but don’t lose hope! Just like Tiana, with a little hard work (or using the MouseDining trick), you’ll find yourself at the table of your dreams. ✨ And for those who are flexible, being on the cancellation list can be your golden ticket to this incredible dining experience. Remember, "the flower that blooms in adversity is the most rare and beautiful of all," as Mulan would say! 🌸
Final Thoughts
Victoria & Albert’s isn’t just a meal—it’s a magical experience. You’ll leave feeling like royalty, whether you’re Prince Charming or Queen Elsa. From the unforgettable dishes to the impeccable service, it’s Disney World’s finest. So if you’re ready to have a “tale as old as time” dining experience, don’t miss out on this enchanting adventure for the senses. 🍴👑

Chef Gabby is creating culinary mastery which we delight in on the regular, as a favorite pastime. Christina took us on a marvelous journey throughout the evening with pacing, presentation and details. She listened attentively as we shared the story of our 13 yo dining companion yearning for a grilled cheese on a faraway adventure as she found herself yet again in the throes of embracing a degustation menu of fanciful food. Like the pure, unexpected magic that is Disney, the kitchen wasted no time and chef Connor presented a Michelin Star grilled cheese - never done before! We erupted into laughter and were filled with joy at the wit and humility!! Absolutely made our night even more enjoyable. The pure thoughtfulness, surprise and humor. Everyone loved the evening, there were 5 of us. Every bite was savory and divine - we left satiated on multiple levels. Stunning harpist, elegant ambiance, but not pretentious- this is a delicate balance they have achieved. If fine dining is your passion, this is a must while in Orlando. Thank you! We will be back!

Another visit to Victoria & Albert's and it did not disappoint. The food here is just simply amazing. The dishes just kept getting better and better, which culminated in the best dish for my wife and I, the A-5 wagyu. We can’t say enough about how phenomenal this restaurant is. Thank you for accommodating our dietary restrictions, for making our 24th wedding anniversary and my wife’s 46th birthday celebration memorable.

Extremely disappointing experience. I have to stress that the service was fantastic and everyone we interacted with was polite and kind. The decor of the dining room reminded me of a 1980s golf club. Genuinely awkward pink and teal carpeting that looked old but probably isn’t, combined with white walls and ceilings with hints of gold and chairs that look like they were covered in an 80 year old woman’s old sweaters. Just strange. The food and drink was the worst part for sure. I was hoping for a straightforward old fashioned and had to select some Japanese whiskey concoction that I couldn’t really struggle through long enough before our server graciously offered a replacement. It was Japanese whiskey with some other aromatic concoction that I was told to mix to my tastes. With or without, it was just disappointing and unnecessarily different than any old fashioned I had ever had. For a replacement, I went with a Manhattan that somehow was just as bad and maybe got through four sips before I gave up and stuck to water. Again, some companion concoction was provided that didn’t help or add to the drink. For the food, the 10 or so courses were very pretty in their presentation but aside from three dishes, basically amounted to a sushi tasting experience for me and not a particularly good one. Despite the fact that each dish occupied maybe a 2 inch by 2 inch area, I did not find many of them worth completing and some of them left me feeling sort of “grossed out”. I’d say the Waygu steak, the crab and raspberry ravioli dish and maybe the lamb were acceptable, but definitely nothing I’d remember for very long. The rest of the menu was unacceptable. Without regard for the price, this was really terrible food. Will definitely never go back and for anyone that is considering this as a splurge to do something nice, try literally anywhere else in Orlando such as Capa, Bacan, or literally any other Michelin. This place should not be a Michelin restaurant.

It’s possible my wife and I don’t have the sophisticated taste buds required for this kind of restaurant but we just didn’t really enjoy any of the food or drinks. The reviews for this place are unreal, in a good way, so we went in with an open mind and tried everything.
All of the dishes were a bit “weird” and to us none of it really tasted good. I realize the place has a Michelin star and everyone else on here is talking about how amazing it is but that just wasn’t our experience. It is a very expensive restaurant, which is fine because we knew that ahead of time… but after eating all of the dishes and not liking any of it, definitely felt like a waste of money to us.
Service is good in the sense that everything is “proper”. You get a nice envelope with your name on it for the menu. If you’re there for a birthday, all of the staff knows it’s your birthday and makes sure to say something which is nice. Everything is placed nicely on the table. Maybe for people that are more accustomed to this style of dining that stuff would be more important. For us it all just felt kind of fake. The servers were nice but it even felt like they had canned responses and none of it felt authentic or genuine.
I don’t want to say it’s a bad restaurant because clearly a lot of people like it, but it just isn’t for us and we would not return or recommend it.

I have heard how amazing Victoria and Albert’s was since I was little. Even given this high bar, I was still completely blown away. It’s challenging to separate out what was more impressive, the food, the service or the atmosphere. From the outstanding cuisine, the engaging and knowledgeable staff or the live harp; V&A’s falls short in no category. Words fail to convey how beautifully executed each course and wine pairing were. There was a painstaking dedication to detail and consideration throughout the meal. I could go on at length in naming attributes of this unique dining experience but I’ll try to be somewhat brief. If you’re in Disney and you have the opportunity to go, it’s a meal you’ll always remember. It’s not short and it’s not cheap, but I would argue that this level of dining is a bargain when compared to other tasting menus of this caliber. I would like to specifically recognizer Israel, Robert, and Linda for superior service. Our servers Aaron and Lazar were not only fantastic at their craft, but demonstrated genuine passion and enthusiasm. My wife and I feel fortunate for being able to have had such a wonderful meal. V&A’s seemingly does the impossible; making every customer feel special while maintaining exemplary consistency. You will not regret it.

One of the most amazing places you will ever dine at. Food is unbelievable and the service exceeds any expectation one can have. What else can one say about the premier highest rated dining experience on Walt Disney property. It is a once in a lifetime experience. I was honored to be able to experience this gem.

Victoria & Albert's recently just got awarded their first Michelin Star. I've been to many One, Two, and Three Star restaurants before, and I am actually a little offended for V&E's that they didn't get Two Stars. The attention to detail, the focus they put on their drink pairings, and the quality of the food honestly is on par with Three Star restaurants.
But I guess I understand Michelin not wanting to go from zero to two or three right off the bat. But if the 2025 list still has them at One Star, I'm going to be mad. For many people in Florida, this is going to be the nicest meal of their life. Let's dig into why a little bit.
First of all, the ambiance is exquisite. All of the tables are so large, but simultaneously spaced so far apart from each other. It's a full dining room, but it feels like your own personal private dining room with your own live harp player.
Second of all, the service is unparalleled. Not only do you have your own server, but you have other servers that are dedicated to only one other thing, like drinks, or snacks, or the dining room manager coming over to check in on you. Your every need really is catered to.
Now, the food. I'm not going to go into every course, because there are way too many, but I will note some highlights and reasons to drop the cash to come here.
So the Zero-Proof Beverage pairing is phenomenal. They have undergone so much effort to ensure that these beverages aren't just different mixings of fruit juices. They have fermented things and zero-proof wines and specialty brewed teas. Each drink is unique and complex. I'm very happy that I did this pairing.
Next, there is a choice to make. The short or the long tasting menu. I can't recall what options are missing from the short menu, but honestly, if you're coming to a place like this, don't skimp. In for a penny, in for a pound.
Some of the courses are full courses, and some of them are snacks. I love the elevation of the snack, though. For example, the caviar and celery root course is served in a fun chips 'n' dip presentation. I loved it.
The next few courses are amazing seafood dishes. A nice king crab and a nice bass dish. Some of the best seafood I've ever had in Orlando. And then, the main event of seafood, the uni pasta dish. Very unctuous.
Then comes a nice hunk of bread as a halftime event between the surf and the turf of the meal.
The first turf dish was probably my favorite of the whole evening. A perfectly cooked piece of quail with a faux-risotto made from sunflower seeds. Very fun. Very full of flavors and textures I've never had before. This was my main event.
Next was a nice lamb dish and what they probably consider the main event, the A-5 Wagyu. It was a nice Wagyu. This is the main event at most traditional tasting menu restaurants, though, so it lacked that uniqueness. Not a bad thing, though.
Then came a nice cheese course to prepare us for the dessert courses. They are served simultaneously with a magically coffee preparation at tableside that's a lot of fun to watch.
The main dessert is a thing I've never heard of before, but it's basically a filled ball/cream puff thing that's filled with some of the most delicious pretzel-based filling I've ever had. So good.
A few more little desserts more, and you're done! One of the best meals of my life. I have nothing more to say about this place. If you can swing it, and swing it right, come on in. It's worth it.
