Yene Romay Ethiopian Kitchen (Food Truck)

I love ethiopian food. It is my favorite type of food in the world. I have had it in Africa, Japan, and all over the US. This is hands down the worst version I have ever had. It has spice without flavor. For a $22 combo plate I got 4 tiny rolls of injera. For the shiro (my favorite normally, bland and sad here), they gave me no injera (and it is takeout, so you don't know until you're home). So I ate it with a fork, and threw most of it away. I am super sad about it.

Best food I've had in a long time, and the owner was SO nice! Amazing options for a vegan, I felt so full and had leftovers for a great price! Would definitely recommend the tea and injera chips.

The food is always delicious. I come to the lake eola farmers market just for her food. I cant get enough of the meatballs :) and they dont use pork!

No matter what her website says… She’s not open on Saturday night, she does not respond to emails. She does not respond to text messages and she does not respond to phone messages. What a waste of time we had tonight looking.

I have tried to come here twice during the listed hours of operation (6:30 pm two weeks ago and 7:00pm today). Both times the truck was not here. I really want to try this place but the hours are not correct or maybe the owner just didn't feel like showing up that day. Waste of my time. Correct your hours of operation!

Helen was so nice in introducing me to Ethiopian food. She helped me understand the menu and made my girlfriend and me some delicious food. I definitely will be coming back again!

Great little spot, highly recommended. The proprietor really cares about the food she cooks. She makes different vegetable dishes off the menu as well so it’s worth actually going down there instead of just DoorDashing it. She even brought us out a new dish she’s been working on and checked on us a couple times while we ate. Definitely recommend checking it out!

Incredibly authentic and delicious. The owner is very kind and helpful regarding her menu. The Doro Wot and Shiro Wot are excellent. This is a must try! Will be a regular location for me as long as I am in town.

I ordered vegan platter and I highly recommend it. I called the owner before ordering and she is such a lovely soul. She was kind, accommodating and just a wonderful person. Definitely one of my fav vegan Ethiopian place. The food was 10/10. Thank you.

This is the best Ethiopian in Orlando. The food is all homemade, healthy, and tastes incredible. The portions are massive and very generous. The dishes are far more affordable hear than at Selam or Nile, but the quality and portion size is every bit as good or better. I would highly recommend trying them. Their key wot is my favorite, but everything I have tried has been good.

They also have a lot of daily specials with interesting, unique, and healthy dishes.
