All I can say is… chefs kiss. The food is absolutely incredible. It’s a small little restaurant but with enough space to not feel cramped. The food came out hot and fresh and our server was incredibly attentive and explained every dish that came out.

The food here is amazing! We got the fried chicken to share which was delicious. I ordered the Zaru Udon which is cold udon noodles and several pieces of tempura. Everything was delicious but it does take awhile for the food to come out which makes sense as everything is very fresh. I will definitely be back to try out more of the menu

Loved the decor and the presentation of everything. Food was fantastic, the udon noodles were perfect consistency. Highly recommend using the lemon on your fried chicken to balance out the salt. Can also recommend the Tempura Mushroom and Ikura. I have to give 4 stars because they are still waiting on their alcohol license. A refreshing beer would have paired perfectly with this cuisine.

This new Udon shop is serving handmade fermented udon soup and high quality accoutrements. Having lunch here was a quick and easy ordeal. Walked in, sat down, marked my order on a paper and 15 min later I had my meal. I especially loved the high quality iced hojicha tea. Don't let the hot weather deter you- sometimes a little bowl of soup made with love is just what you need to feel better.

The udon was quite good, but portions were pretty small, and pricey for what you do get. The music was way too loud to hold a normal conversation.Parking very difficult, though given the neighborhood I don't particularly hold that against them. The sesame coffee was actually amazing though.

A great date night spot that's unique and cozy. Seated with a view of the kitchen, you can watch your noodles being made while listening to the hip-hop overhead and take in the natural modern atmosphere. The house-made udon noodles and broth are out of this world delicious, and the appetizers are all unique and insanely flavorful. The dessert they have is a delicious asian-style fusion. Dare I say the next Michelin guide spot in Orlando???Vegetarian options: Many appetizers are vegetarian and they have a couple of vegetarian udon bowls

Stopped by for a bowl of udon and here's the scoop: The taste was decent, nothing to write home about but satisfactory. What really stood out was the service - attentive and prompt, making the dining experience pleasant. The restaurant itself boasts a clean and photogenic environment, perfect for those who love to snap a picture or two of their meals. While I found the udon slightly on the pricier side, the tempura was a game changer - absolutely worth every penny! If you're in the mood for some quality tempura and don't mind splurging a bit on the noodles, this is the place for you.

Amazing dining experience. Went here for lunch around 3pm on a Saturday. Very short wait time sitting on the benches provided. Tables are close together so hope you don’t mind sitting relatively close to the party next to you. But it’s so worth it for the food! You fill out a paper menu with what you want, from drinks & teas, to appetizers and entrees. Each item is brought out as it’s made, fresh and hot and each one tasting better than the previous.I had thePotato SaladPork GyozaTatsuta-ageNori UdonMushroom TempuraAnd finished with theHojicha Panna Cotta (not pictured but it was delicious)Overall amazing vibes with music (90’s-2000’s hip hop and R&B) playing throughout the restaurants. Not too loud tho, I was able to read my book and enjoy my amazing meal ?Parking: Parking around backOr street parking off colonial or adjacent streets

Solid! ? Food was very slow, and bit expensive. They comped an appetizer after realizing how long it had taken (we didn't even have to ask) as an apology so all is well. The tempura was the best part and the sesame latte was a close second. ?

The atmosphere of the store is good and the food looks good, but the taste is not as good as Gildong Udon.

The food was ok. I still had half my entree, I asked for a to go container and the waitress said she'd take it in the back and put it into one.... she comes back 3 min later saying she forgot and handed it off to someone that threw my food away.It was kind of annoying considering I still had atleast half my entree. They wouldn't comp the check a little bit or make me a new one. So if you don't finish your foo don't expect to leave with it. Pretty disappointing overall.

loved this place! such a great ambiance inside and the fill-it-out menus is such a fun idea that makes it easy on the customer and servers. we got the gyoza, shrimp tempura udon, and nikutama udon with sweet potato and mushroom tempura, and sesame panna cotta. everything was delicious, the highlight of the night really was the panna cotta, if you go it's a must get! servers were very friendly and helped to explain the restaurant's style and what pairs best with what especially if ur unfamiliar. definitely will be returning!

My wife and I wanted to give this spot a try because we're such big fans of Asian cuisine and Zaru looked so good. We visited on Friday, March 8th and got a table after a twenty minute wait which we were totally okay with. We sat down and after a few minutes our server came by to greet us and explain the concept and told us she'd give us time with the menus. After 10 minutes of waiting the host came by and asked if we were done with our menus (they're the kind where you check a box next to what you're ordering), so we assumed he was going to place our orders. We sat down at 8:15pm and left at 9:05 without receiving any food. While people that had sat down after us received appetizers and entrees. The server had walked past our table several times. She spoked to us during the greeting and nobody ever came by to speak with or check on us again. Extremely disappointed. :(

I recently dined at an udon spot in Mills 50 and must say the broth was delectable, bursting with clean dashi flavor. However, the noodles fell slightly short in chewiness for my liking. Nonetheless, don't let my preference sway you from a fantastic dining experience - the overall atmosphere and flavors make it worthwhile and the service well done!
