The one thing I didn't like was how the hot sauce worked, there was only one bottle of siracha and it rested on a table. I had to search thru a sea of people in order to use it, which is very awkward and inconvinent. The restaurant is a bit dark inside. Many of the staff speak very little English, so, you have to wait for the one who speaks English. Still, friendly staff.

We ordered sizzling plate, beef ginger and scallion, comes with rice. Tasty, nice sizzling presentation, and fresh. Bit salty.

For dim sum, we ordered siu mai, har gow, beef meatballs, crunchy shrimp balls, and fired taro puff. Absolutely delicious, fresh and great size.

Definitely come and tey them yourselves.“

I went to the lucky bowl during the height of megacon (Saturday night) and trying to get dinner, there was 6 of us, two went to subway(two doors down), I went here (obviously) and three friends when to restaurant to the right of this place. I got an appetizer, a soup, and an entree for like 22 bucks?? It was so delicious and it was affordable and it came out within like 10 to 15 minutes of ordering it!! I walked over to the restaurant that my three friends were ordering from and placed a drink order. I then proceeded to wait with them for their food and my drink for 2 hours! My subway friends came over like 5 minutes after I placed my drink order and I knew that the Lucky bowl was the best option, I got the most food for the best price and the speed in which I got it was crazy. Next megacon I will be back to the lucky bowl and recommend it to anyone who cares about their time, money and taste buds!“

“Finally, I found New york style Chinese, and they have the bbq sauce. I still have to try the ribs. Nonetheless, the sauce is there. They have lunch specials Monday-Sunday till 3 pm, just like NY. There is a worker there, not sure if she is an owner or not. She told me they are from Canal St. in Manhattan. I highly recommend giving them a try. It's very well worth it. “I was at Hai San years ago, and I loved it. I went back after all this time and still loved it. Good, old fashioned 1950s-1970s Chinese Food, made to perfection. They even have old school, White Sauce Chicken Chow Mein...if you understand that reference, then you know what to expect...great Chinese Food from a bygone era. If it weren't more than an hour's drive from my house by highway, I would take food out from Hai San on a regular basis. It was good years ago, and still is the best Chinese Food I have had in Central Florida!

My wife and I were staying at the Fairfield Inn and Suites right near Hai San and were in the mood for Chinese food, but too tired to go out to eat, so placed an order for pickup and brought it to our room.

Although we live in Maryland, we are originally from New York. And like most New Yorkers, we are snobs when it comes to pizza, bagels and Chinese food :-)

Well, Hai San passed the snob test. We thoroughly enjoyed our order of shrimp rolls, spare ribs, and Moo Shoo Pork. Also, when we told them we were bringing the food to our hotel room, they supplied us with plates, and plastic utensils.

The food was well prepared, hot, tasty and reminded me of our take-out places in New York!“

Parking: Free, but in a busy area near to I4. Some people complained about the area, but usually where you find the best takeout you also need to lock your doors.“

It is a wonderful Cantonese-style Chinese takeout place like you find in NYC. Fast, fresh, flavorful, and cheap.
