This is a refreshing find here in ormond beach, where fine dining and great food can sometimes be elusive. The chicken piccata was fantastic as well as the pene . The full bar and the extensive wine list made for an even better experience. I'm totally sold on FiG and will be a long time customer

The staff and the service was excellent The bread and the oil with pesto dip was very good My husband ordered the scallops with risotto, it was way very salty, greasy, the rice was wet and lumpy I ordered the meatballs with angel hair pasta, the sauce didn't have much of a flavor, the meatballs were too mushy and not enough flavors Not enough Italian flavors Paid way too much money

Was really looking forward to trying this place out, it's been on my bucket list forever. Finally got the chance to try it out tonight where I was rudely turned away by one of the employees. We kindly asked to sit at the bar in which she responded " I can't get to you at the bar I have a full dining room". Instead of offering to put our name down for a next available table, she rudely barked that "we weren't even old enough to sit at the bar anyway" (my partner and I are 25 and 26 by the way). Once I corrected her and reassured her we were old enough to sit at the bar, she responded with "well I don't know what to tell you", then walked away. Well that was enough to change my perspective of the place. Will not be revisiting.
