My husband and I tried Frida’s for lunch on February 13th. My husband had the pork burrito and I had a combo plate that included a pork tamale. Both of us were sick that evening, my husband running to the bathroom and I was vomiting.I sent a review on the restaurant’s website letting them know. I didn’t want to post it online, I wanted the restaurant themselves to respond. They did not. I have since heard other horror stories about Frida’s so I now want the public to know that not only is their food unsafe but they do not care! I’m sorry now that I did not notify the health department.If you’ve eaten there and been sick please do what I didn’t and notify the health department before someone dies.

Bright friendly atmosphere with a cool mural and other art.Pleasant staff, but not quite as attentive as he could have been.I had carnitas enchiladas and chips and queso. The chips seemed a little stale and the cheese was not very warm and hardened fairly quickly. The enchiladas were okay, but not great. Not a lot of cheese on them, which I prefer. Rice was a throw away. No seasoning at all.My friend loved her flan. She also got Elote and it was lite on topping.Maybe it was an off night. I'll go back and try something else.Kid-friendliness: Family friendly.Wheelchair accessibility: Plenty of room to maneuver a wheelchair through the restaurant and doorway.

Food was great. Service not so much. It was not a language barrier, I communicated in both English and Spanish and my orders still managed to come out wrong. Meals didn't come out together even though we ordered at the same time, so we had some people in our party waiting while others ate. 5 issues with my meals in the same visit.
