Seadrift sports bar & grill

Its a nice place but if your not a booze hound they prefer you go somewhere else because they dont make much money on us non boozers I only drink soda a picture of soda would last for a while

I was in town and decided to come here to watch the NHL Stanley Cup game . Service from the bar staff was the only good part of the Seadrift . A sports bar would usually have the volume turned up for a major sporting event . Unfortunately there is no beer list or even a cocktail menu . I did see staff struggling with very common cocktails including a Margarita . I spoke with some beer reps that were at the bar next to me and they had mentioned that they struggle with getting the owner onboard with how to property run a bar such as having a menu that guests can pick from in order to provide quality cocktails and let guests know what beers they offer as there is no possible way for anyone to know without a list !
The guests from the back room have to stand in the bar area in order to order drinks . It’s a bad design .

The menu is supposedly new but it lack any healthy options and is loaded with fried food . The fish is Swai I was told which nobody should ever be served .
When food is ready from the kitchen it is brought out and placed on the liquor counter of the bar to wait for the bartender to serve it to a guest rather than having a system with seat #’s that a server could use to give the guests their food directly rather than it sitting to get cold .

The bathroom gets locked often as there is no door on the men’s room stall . I say often as I stayed for the whole game and it happened to me .

I spoke with the owner when I found out that he was there and he was not bothered with any of the issues I mentioned such as a beer list . I’m giving 3 stars rather than 2 as he was nice enough to buy me a beer .

*Owner replied to this review that I was drunk , however that would mean that his action of buying me a beer at that time would be irresponsible on his part and jeopardizing to his business and also his bar staff for serving me .
Not deserving of any stars for an honest review on my part .

Here’s my problem, I came here and have come her a few times because it would be my local bar… yet I sat here for 10 minutes and couldn’t get service while others who got here after me did. I guess since I’m not a guy, I didn’t deserve to get taken care of here…

Friendly locals place we stopped and had Quesadilla and shrimp skewers. Nice and spicy and fresh. Friendly bartenders plenty of room. Would recommend.

We dont get out too much but wife and I stopped here lastnight for a beer and some bar food. Beer prices were great and the food was even better! Chicken Quesidilla was HUGE and tasted great! Just steps from the beach and great atmosphere. Definitely will be back.

Best place in Ormond Beach. Clean, great staff,awesome food. Top sports bar in Volusia. 48 TVs. Every game possible. Unique layout. One side games, pool, darts, skeet ball. Other side is the bar, both sides loaded with TVs. Lots of activities to do. Great times day or night. 5 ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐

I only go out a few times a year because I have a big family and a ton of responsibility but I decided to try the new vibe at seadrift after taking my oldest daughter to homecoming so I arrived late in the evening. I ordered two drinks over the course of two hours until it was closing time. There was another local business owner sitting next to me that accidently left his cell phone behind at the bar when the manager was screaming at everyone to get out 10 minutes before two. I attempted to tell him who's phone it was so he could get it back to him asap and the manager screamed at me and treated me like trash. I am an upstanding citizen of our local community, I am raising 5 children here and we own one of the biggest homes in obs....I received unacceptable disrespectful treatment from the manager for simply trying to assist another local business owner retrieve their phone. NEVER spending my time or money there again. Disgusting behavior from the management toward an upstanding mature couple that lives 3 blocks down the street.

The new location is very clean and spacious. Lots of tvs, TouchTunes and loud enough to hear your music but not to loud, that you can't talk to anyone. Lots of games, darts, air hockey. Fun atmosphere. I didn't try any food. Service at the bar was really quick and on a Saturday night. I appreciate that. Recommend for watching sports and get together with friends.

New location, same local customers and really good pub food. Try your hand at the electronic casino games, one woman won $6,000 while I was there!
