There's not much to say about a timeshare resort that can't seem to find a reputable company to fix the place up to get an opening dateRooms: Resort has been closed for over a year. Not much to say

I've been an owner for quite a few years. This is the third time to pay maintenance fees on a unit I can't use. They had the nerve to charge a late fee when I can't even stay there.

Great place to stay on the ocean. Great pool area. Staff Tremendous, especially maintenance folk. Always nice to be around. Gas Grills kept clean. Beach is right there. Hot tub and whole poole area kept very clean. Plenty of chairs. Parking was easy

Ask all questions concerning the unit you will be assigned (size, amenities, location of the bed to the air conditioning unit and lighting). Staff was helpful, unit was presentable - but furnishings were dated, kitchen was equipped.

The Maverick has continued to improve over the years. The rooms offer the best view possible and if you like waking up to the sun coming up over the beach , this is the place for you. The hot tub and pool will not be matched and the friendliness everyone is amazing. I absolutely love this place

I have mixed reviews on my stay. 1st, I am local, who wanted to spend a couple of days beachfront. The room was "just ok" and clean enough (not sparking, but, not filthy either). The kitchenette and full size fridge was convenient, and the view was incredible! Small, balcony, but fine for me and my husband to sit and enjoy the view. I don't think more than 2 will be comfortable, but, to be fair, it was a studio room, 1 bed, 1 pull out couch. Housekeeping does not come to the rooms, so if you want fresh towels, linens, etc, you need to trade them at the front desk. (Including put sheets on yourself, if you need clean sheets). They give you a broom to sweep yourself, so you can clean while on vacation. The pool was big and kept clean. The hot tub was very nice as well. The grill area and new deck were great. I guess it was just renovated, so, it's all clean and sparkly. Private access beach is nice. They definitely need a restaurant and bar. They have the little shop, which has convenience store selections (think 7-11). No alcohol. Apparently they will have beer and wine in the future, but, not liquor (info from front desk staff). This is a time share place, but, unlike many time share places I have stayed, there is no pressure for purchase. Nobody walking around convincing you to listen to a 90 minute presentation. This is a big plus, as some places make it impossible for you to say no, takes away time from your vacation.Time share owners do have perks here, such as day passes to use the pool, hot tub, beach, etc. Also discounts. Because we are local, and would use the day passes frequently, as well as the discounts on room rentals, we were interested in purchasing a time share. We asked a woman at the front desk, and she gave me some information and was super nice. Found out that it was her last day, so, that kinda sucked, as she was a great example of great service, which was clearly lacking, as you will see if you read on...She saw Terry, the timeshare salesman, and explained that I was interested in purchasing. He then told me he did not have time. Not in an apologetic way, but, condescending. I explained that I know about timeshares, used to have one, have talked to owners that weekend, and really had my mind made up to purchase, just wanted to see the rooms. Again, he said, I don't have time, and instructed me to look online. Again, not in a helpful, but, "I can't be bothered" tone. I let it go, and was still interested, and hoped someone else could help me, because I was pretty sure I wanted to buy, but would rather he not get my sale. I even mentioned something to the girl at the front desk, who agreed that he was very rude. So, at checkout, the "Customer Service manager" was at the desk. I explained that I would really like to see some units for sale, as I was interested in purchasing. I asked if someone could show me the rooms, preferably someone other than Terry. I called him a bad name, because that is how he presented himself to me. Rather than asking what happened, her response, AS THE CUSTOMER SERVICE MANAGER was "I don't want to get into all that". REALLY? I thought that would have been her job to get into that, as a customer service manager. She said, well, Saturday, we don't have anyone to show. Then, I said, ok, there are other timeshares in Daytona, not a problem. (I kept my composure, and was not rude or loud). Then, as I left, she was yelling down to me that it's kinda hard to show me a room when people are in it. The day before, they weren't occupied, because Terry I guess would have shown me, "if he had time", and never mentioned them being in use. I checked out at 8:30 AM, and check in is at 4, so, IDK, where the guests appeared from. Between Terry and the Customer Service manager, this place is lacking in service. Severely.

Lovely view of ocean from your room balcony. Resort has many little extras to make your stay pleasant e.g. deck chairs and umbrellas, outdoor grills, well supplied game room. Staff were helpful and accommodating. My only disappointment was with the room cleanliness; dust and hair on floor moulding, and in areas behind the obviously exposed surfaces.

Good: - Right on the beach - room was clean - free roll of paper towels - Friendly staff - Comfy beds - Pool area very nice Other: - Room was not cleaned even tho we put the sign on the door - Aggressive check in and check out times - There is no longer a restaurant but there is a convenience store that has food - Elevators are REALLY slow - Building is old
