“We found this little place on line and were missing our Greek places from back in NY. We picked a day that someone hit a power pole so no lights. That did not stop them from serving, all but the soda machine. Amazing Gyro and Chicken Slovakia. Our server was a sweetheart and made sure everyone was taken care. Best Pita we have had in a while!!!! Thank you for making lemonade of or lemons!!!!“
“The best greek salad that I’ve had in North America! Reminded me of the Greek salads that I would get in Greece when I went 5 years ago. Also had the tzatziki with pita and was superb! Service was just as good as the food, the restaurant was very clean, and loved the Greek themed decor! Definitely recommend for anyone looking for really good authentic Greek food.“

“Went for Sunday brunch with a group. We got in at a good time because it got crowded quickly. Place was packed!Our server was friendly and attentive. Food was good and portions were huge for me. Had to take half of my food home.I asked for Swissh cheese instead of feta but I guess they misunderstood so they put both cheeses. Not a big deal. They accomodated my request to add spinach to the gyro omelette.“

“I wanted to fall in love with his place, and the reviews that I read made that thought very promising. Maybe I was there on an off night. The atmosphere and the service were exemplary. The food was good but not great. My wife and sister-in-law had moussaka. She has eaten it at many restaurants. Something she makes at home. And she has worked as a chef at her restaurant. She felt it lacked flavor and was bland. I had the Greek Giouvetsi. Essentially a lamb stew with pasta. It was cooked well, but in the same vein as the moussaka, lacked flavor and was bland.While it is good, solid food, and the extensive menu makes it a good choice for varied diners, there is room for improvement.“
“First time here today and place filled up quickly. We were served the most delicious Mediterranean/Middle Eastern food available. Everything was freshly made. I'm sad I found this fantastic restaurant at the end of my stay here in Sarasota but look forward to eating here alot upon my return.“

“Best Greek food I have ever had.I grew up vacationing in tarpon spring and thought nothing would ever top that moussaka, but this place has it beat by a landslide.Boyfriend got the gyro and he said it was done excellently. We will only go here for Greek fare from now on! You guys are fantastic!“

“Pancakes are HUGE! Grits are nice and creamy. $3. for a good-sized cup. Used to go to Skillets but they reduced the amount to EXACTLY 6 oz (said the manager when I asked). 6 oz for $5,95. I sent them back and Watched her throw them away. I told my waitress "Tomorrow I will order the LARGE SIZE. For more money. And send them back. And watch them throw them away. LOL (not really, but my waitress laughed and said "Do it!" Nope. Not going back. Max's Table for me!“
