“It's All GoodMy wife sent me to Manny's yesterday to get some tacos, my first visit to this food truck. I've noticed this truck for months but never thought to stop by, although they seemed to be popular. A quick look online and I knew they are cash only and have a simple menu. She wanted to try their Carne Asada and Al Pastor. That sounded fine so I got the same thing, only twice as much.There was no line when I arrived so it was a quick stop, placing my order, paying, and receiving my container of food in just a few minutes. Once home we opened it up and both thought it looked really very good. They use a double shell for each taco so the tacos don't tear apart. I got kind of carried away with the red hot sauce so I didn't taste much, barely able to distinguish any differences between the steak and pork. I'm not much of a taco aficionado anyway, to me it was all good. Manny's is located, on Fridays and Saturday, at Nick's Bar on Bee Ridge just east of McIntoch.“
“Food truck, so we already knew it would be a hit. Absolutely amazing, best tacos in Sarasota. There are not many places to get good Mexican food in this area but this one is guaranteed to be delicious every time. They close early so plan on getting tacos for lunch“
“My husband had the Ribeye Sandwich, and I had the burger. Both were so yummy! We've already been back for seconds. I'm glad that I saw it in passing and decided to stop. It seems hard to find good, quick, inexpensive options, but this place is all of the above. We will definitely be back!“
“We went to Island House Taqueria last winter while in Florida and couldn’t wait to return this year. We went there this week on Taco Tuesday. Problem was the tacos were full price not half price as advertised on their web site and the tortillas weren’t made out of the blue corn that was so good last year. I will say that they were loaded with meat but just not what we had last year. Sorry to say we probably won’t be back.“

“Just stopped by for lunch. We ordered a burrito with chicken and an Al pastor quesadilla chipotle with hot sauce and a water. It is worth the money! My burrito was big and all the ingredients were fresh and exciting! I even ate the radish and lime garnishes lol. And my gf says the quesadilla chipotle was nice and spicy and the Al pastor was cooked perfectly. We'd come back for sure. The staff were nice, patient people as well. I'll consider getting an agua de Fresca next time!“
“This is one of our regular “go to” places and the food is always excellent…we were in last night and I am writing this review to let management know that we really appreciate that job that Dave was doing around the restaurant to make sure that everyone was getting the right food and otherwise enjoying their experience …it appeared that the restaurant was a little short staffed and Dave was hustling around and doing a great job and he realllllly helped make sure that we had a great experience …thanks Dave !“
“We split the Grouper Sandwich and it was very good. The seating area was adequate but the employee taking the orders at the window was less than welcoming. The pager system worked great so we got our sandwich as soon as it came off the grill.“
“Went here for lunch with friends. Our waiter Alex was outstanding and we sat outside overlooking the water. It was so comfortable. We each ordered a different version of the grouper sandwich and enjoyed that as well. French fries were delicious!“
