“I've traveled all over Florida and Marifer's is THE BEST. Sometimes I eat here twice in a weekend...it's that good. I recommend their Carnitas, Pastor and Elote. There are a lot of taco trucks in Gibsonton these days but Marifer's has been here for years.“
“We tried this place 2 weeks ago and it was fantastic! We ordered the birria tacos, which were so delicious. They are right down the street from us, so it makes for a quick and affordable meal that tastes homemade. Will be headed there again tonight for dinner!“
“My partner and I stopped by El Rincon to pick up dinner on a Saturday evening. I ordered their chicken tamale, chicken taco and steak taco. Everything was pretty good but the steak taco was the best. The sauce they give you is VERY hot but oh so good. Make sure you have plenty of water around when you use it. We also shared chips and guacamole. The guacamole is not as seasoned as I'm used to but still tasty. My partner has their birria quesadilla with lamb which was very good but extremely greasy. He also had two chicken tacos. Considering the amount of food we ordered, the turnaround time was pretty quick. While we waited, we sat down on one of their benches in front of the food truck. I'm planning on returning to try their other options. Everything on the menu looked delicious!“
“Visiting from Staten Island NY and this is the 2nd time here won't be the last! They have outdoor seating which I like to people watch. Bartender great watched him twice make a drink with smoke which was like art. The cook was a great personable person his name was Jamal and his food on spot! Next time gonna try wings. If your in this area stop in a great place!!!“
“Super clean truck, with nicely shaded small patio/tables to enjoy some of the best tacos I've had in years! The freshly made corn tortillas were outstanding. The guy taking orders was super sweet. My Diet Coke was ice cold...an added bonus!“
“This location has some wonderful Mexican cuisine. The nacho chips are absolutely amazing. They are the perfect consistency to holding up sauce and queso without getting soggy. One of my favorite items is the chicharrones taco. It is loaded with nicely balanced pork belly with a sweetish sauce, salty feta cheese, and paired with onion and cilantro. Delectable!!Vegetarian options: There is a wonderful vegetarian taco with mushrooms, onion, and peppers.“
“Tacos Los Primos3302 South West Shore Blvd.Tampa, FL 33629@tacoselprimotampa Good Food comes from Hidden Gems and this taco place is no exception. Located inside The Rainbow Food Mart, Tacos Los Primos is awaiting your visit. Looking for a good mexican taco spot? Tacos Los Primos got you. They'll have your tastebuds singing.Open 7 days a week. What I had:1) Birria Tacos (Delicious )2) Fish and Shrimp Tacos (amazing)3) Primo California Burrito ( very filling and satisfying)4) Aguas Frescas- Watermelon (refreshing)5) Chips and Salsa ( good complimentary items/ Red Salsa“
“By far the best Mexican food I’ve had in Florida. Highly recommend to anyone passing through. Had the flautas (which isn’t even on the menu) and they were amazing. Great prices too! CASH ONLY, but they do accept Zelle!Wheelchair accessibility: Should be no issue as all seating is outside on same ground level.“
“Honestly I love Bull Market! They are a great local family run option. I love their endless selection to mix and match for a unique bowl every time. You can't go wrong with their yam noodles and sweet potato mash! I usually order to go but every once in a while I will dine in, which is a nice change of pace because their interior is relaxing with dim lights and feels bodega-ish. Highly recommend!Dietary restrictions: Gluten free options“
“Visiting Tampa. After a recommendation from someone else, came for some tacos. Had their al pastor & carne asada and they were very good. Sauces could be spicier but the tacos were great. Al pastor especially was my favorite, crispy corners on the meat, the tortillas were perfect.“
“Ones of the best spots I've had in Florida coming from southern Cali, says a lot. Fresh, yummy, clean & quick. Wish I could've snapped a pic but I ate too quick. Talked with someone, maybe the owner? Anyways super nice and remembered my friend who had only been a few times. Definitely recommend!“
“Just had surgery and woke up craving tacos. Came here and ordered the Barbacoa tacos! Let me tell you. Especially after fasting and surgery, these tacos are heaven on earth. That’s coming from someone who is atheist lolAnyways, these tacos slap. Woulda took a photo, but I ate all 4 of them.10/10 recommend“
“Really good spot for mexican food with solid flavors. They have daily specials, and in my opinion, their saturday special is a top notch deal. Not enough parking for the amount of seating they have, but idc... it wont stop me from going back!“
“Although I have been in Tampa 2 years now I had never been to the International plaza food court. I recently happened upon this gem Mexican restaurant to entertain a friend that came into town to visit. The wait was short, our bartender Sam was great. We had the pork tacos and the roasted corn. Food was phenomenal but what really really made my day was the service from our waitress Emma. Patient as she waited for our food choices. GREAT very welcoming personality. She checked on us regularly, just overwhelming awesome personality. Funny, and made the whole restaurant experience that much more enjoyable. Emma girl you did your thing.Gina MillerRiverview FlParking: International mall parking lot“
“Empanadas filled differently. 4pk/$25($7ea. hey, it's Armature Works). Fresh Prince: take on a Philly. Buffalo Soldier 2.0: buffalo chicken. Cheeseburger in Paradise: as advertised. Tampa Girl: a Cuban in an empanada. All delicious. Taste like they were baked or air fried. Thank God, because the insides were pretty gooey with cheese ?. Cute baking mold with the names. There's tacos, too. I hear it's another great transition from a food truck. If you're trying not to have a full meal, most of the places in AW don't help, even the smaller kiosks seemed geared to larger(and pricier) offerings. See my review of AW.“
“The owner is kind and helpful. The food is amazing! And prices are great! Portions are good to! I had the Al pastor burrito! Guac is automatically included inside with no up charge. And I tried a fried plantain desert that comes with a sweetened condensed milk sauce ? the whole thing will probably be 3 meals for me. The burrito was $9 and dessert $3.“
“The food is really great, I frequent this location. My favorite is the duck but they just added a tuna that is phenomenal. I rather enjoy their lettuce wrapped tacos more and more as well. The vibe is always fun and never dull. It can get packed so make sure you call ahead or get a reservation. Also it getting packed can create some slow service but honestly that is rare and the staff is pretty great.“
“Comida deliciosa! La Torta de Asada y la Agua de Limon que ni se diga! Llevamos desde Enero ordenando de ahi y todo sigue igual de Delicioso. Lo unico que pensamos que ocupan es una salsa más picosa, ya hemos probado la verde y roja y están igual no pican. Y como muchos mexicanos son como mi esposo que no comen agusto si no pica, sería mi única recomendación por que aparte de eso todo delicioso! Y los recomendó al 100%.“
“I like the place. It's ice cream hard to mess up. The funniest thing and why I had to leave a review is people honestly writing bad reviews because of delivery of ice cream in Florida ? Are you people serious ? I saw people complaining that the delivery they got of ice cream was melted wtf do you expect ? It's Florida and ice cream depending how far people are you can be in Alaska in a car and the ice cream will melt . I don't even know how ice cream delivery would work on a cone not in a cup. You should expect it melted wow why bring a business' stars down because you got ice cream delivered wtf I saw those reviews and laughed .“
“The food is always on point and made with love, but most of all this taco truck has great people that own and operate it. I get their steak tacos on flour tortillas, and can't forget the hand squeezed lemonade, so good. Come try them out! You won't be “
“A humble fast casual restaurant with really nice staff and the best chicken quesadilla I've ever had! This is no Americanized menu. There are tacos, quesadillas, sopes, and tamales, and each one looks better than the last. You can even have a bowl! The tortilla was crispy, the mozzarella cheese was generous, and the chicken was delicious! The chicken was chopped into small pieces, sauteed in something incredible, and had fresh cilantro sprinkled on top. Whenever I'm close by, I'll be eating here and trying their sopes next!“
“This is not so much a taco restaurant but instead it's a bowl shop. They put together delicious bowls with a good selection of toppings, proteins and base stuffYou select your base (rice, greens, etc.), then your protein, then toppings. There's plenty of seating both inside and outside. There is a self-serve beverage station.“
“Love this place! They’re very nice and the steak (asada) tacos and sopes are bomb! By the way if you like spicy salsa ? their salsa verde is super hot and the red one is spicy as well but both very delicious with my favorite steak tacos! It’s convenient, local, and I have been here a few times and tried their different meats but their steak is the best in my opinion.??“
“I just had a bad meal at another restaurant nearby home and I found myself asking why I didn't just grab tacos tonight (it was after 10 that's why) but it reminded me that this place is 100% great 100% of the time. I go at least twice a month smh haha. I love the Tinga tacos and green sauce but I'd also recommend the birria tacos, carne and barbacoa tacos. The nice ladies in the truck are always sweet and get your order down accurately. The nice little seating area works if you wanna eat onsite/dont mind eating at a gas station. 10/10 would recommend for quick Mexican food in South Tampa any day“
“We are on our way from the Keys to New Orleans and found this gem on our way through. We love to support small business across the world, and this was the perfect place to do just that! We were served by Alexa and she was very sweet! It doesn't look like much from the outside, but It's a very authentic Mexican environment all the way around, the kind you'll find in small family owned places in Mexico. We got our food quickly and it was fantastic!“
“I saw Jimmy's Tacos advertised in a "That's So Tampa" email and since I was in Ybor for the vintage market, I decided to swing by for lunch. What a nice surprise!!! I ordered the shrimp tacos - one blackened (omg - yum!) and one grilled. They were large/jumbo shrimp cook perfectly and served on blue corn tortillas. Delicious. The atmosphere was very Ybor - chill, and fun. I loved seeing the chickens roam around and good service topped it off.“
“Everytime I look for a highly rated place, most of the time my wife and I are disappointed and I look the like idiot recommending a random place. This place is nowhere close to that and is one of the best mexican places i have ever eaten at. I haven't had anything close to rockys since Denver and I've grown up in South and Central Florida. Please go there, you will not be disappointed. $11 for a huge burrito.“
“We had the $6 (3) taco special with a choice of steak, pork, or chicken. All three were phenomenal.Excellent customer service, the place is very clean, I tried the bacon cheeseburger last week and it was great, the burger was a half pound and very fresh and definitely not frozen patties, had a very delicious char, a lot of good bacon also charred slightly in the most delicious way, on a grilled potato bun with lettuce, tomato, pickle, onion, special sauce, cheese, and a side of crispy fries.Everything is well priced, great quality, and delicious.“
“I was in Ruskin for 3 nights and got tacos from here 3 times. Very delicious and they were open til 10pm most nights. I also had the pleasure of meeting a woman named Maria in that same driveway in the morning who was selling tamales and champurrado (Mexican hot chocolate) out of the back of her car. Please go check her out. I had her tamales twice!“
“These were some of the BEST Quesabirria Tacos I've ever had, and I'm from San Diego where the Mexican food is bomb!! My husband had the Chorizo Sandwich and that was amazing too! We really loved this little spot in Tampa. Great stuff!!“
“I'm from Los Angeles. Admittedly I am a taco snob.Let me just say, after living here for over a decade I gave up my search for authentic Mexican food.I am absolutely floored and will be coming back every time I am in the area.Holy smokes guys, fantastic flavors.“
“Went here to save time on driving to Wimauma. Hidden Gem! Glad we decided to stop! Absolutely fantastic. The freshest tasting tacos I've experienced in a long time. Full of meat cheese and fresh toppings. The tortilla, freshly made. Had the shrimp tacos and steak tacos. Just wish they had chips and salsa! Their sauces are great too! We will definitely be back!Parking: Parking is okay of you park near the nursery.“
“I love Mexican food, but my son doesn’t now, we’ve been there a couple of times because my little one wants tacos cause he loves the tortillas made by hand and there’s more options plus they have the BBQ options you should try it now! And they close late, 10/10. The only thing that’s bad is when you sit down the smoke of the BBQ makes your clothes smell bad, that’s why I recommend to take the food to go“
“I go here regularly but I usually stick to the tacos. This week I decided to switch it up and try the quesadillas and I was not disappointed. The portion size was great and they gave a good amount of shrimp within the quesadillas. Service is always great per usual.“
“It's my birthday so I stopped by Fuzzy's to bring my family home their AMAZING STEAK BURRITOS and met a lady named Martini who provided EXCELLENT SERVICE! I highly recommend this place if you're looking for a ridiculously tasty burrito!“
“The exterior may not lend much to the taste buds but don’t count this place out! Amazing authentic food. The tacos were steaming hot and juicy! I am so happy about the quality of food, the quantity and the quick service! Tej food was seasoned to perfection and fresh! Fresh vegetables and tender meat! The food was so great, I pondered whether to share a review. Maybe this could be my little secret! Check him out! Great Food!!!! I had the chicken and beef tacos!“
“This is authentic Mexican food. The owners don't speak English so brush up on your Spanish. The burrito, quesadilla, and mangonada were delicious. There is no outdoor signage and no seating. It's difficult to find, but it's good if you enjoy trying mom and pop restaurants like I do.“
“Miguelitos Taqueria Y Tequilas is a vibrant culinary destination that captures the essence of Mexican cuisine with flair. From mouthwatering tacos to flavorful enchiladas and refreshing margaritas, each dish and drink is a celebration of bold flavors and quality ingredients. The lively atmosphere and friendly service create the perfect setting for a memorable dining experience with friends or family. Whether you're indulging in their signature street-style tacos or sampling their extensive tequila selection, Miguelitos Taqueria Y Tequilas promises a taste of Mexico that's sure to delight the senses.“
“This is a fancy fast food restaurant that serves alcohol. I had the tacos during happy hour which is 2 to 5 PM. The tacos are four dollars apiece. They were pretty good they come with chips. Ask for guacamole on the side and that's free. My husband ordered the nachos. He was very pleased. It was a huge order. I had a happy hour margaritas, which is advertised at five dollars put more expensive at the Apollo Beach location. It's eight dollars there. The glass is very small and full of ice so you don't get much margarita I did mention this to our waiter. The service was excellent. They were very attentive.“
“I love TJ’s! The nachos, the hot sauce buffet, the chip and salsa always hit the mark. However, I feel like this location has more potential than it is achieving. For one, the music. I would love to hear more modern music and even just a bit louder. Then the lights, perhaps dimming the lights slightly more than they are now. Also, I noticed they sell beer and alcoholic drinks, but they don’t really push this aspect. I would like to see them pushing this more to create a more hang-out vibe. I like coming here after a workout, but would like to see this place become more of a hang out with friends type of place instead of just a food pick up location.“
“Very bright and engaging atmosphere. I was scared to go in thinking the line would be way too long. However to my surprise the girl at the register was able to get everyone in and out quickly. I was very happy to know I can always come here on my lunch break!“
“Inside of the popular Armature Works near the Riverwalk. I don't think I've ever walked into this place, and it has not been crowded. It was my first time trying this place. The line moved fast, and putting together this monster burrito was even faster. You have your choices like you would at Qdoba or Moe's. Make it as big or small as you want. They have a good selection of soft drinks. If you care to have something a bit stronger, there are several bars inside. Lastly, seating is a premium, especially on the weekends. The best thing is, if you're able, find a seat first and have someone hold it for you. It can also be a bit loud inside. Outside is a good choice too as they sometimes have live music. But again, seating is a premium. Overall, it was a tasty creation and very filling. Go there if you have a big appetite.“
“A group of us (around 12 people) had lunch together at Tijuana Flats today, and I want to highlight our two servers, Brianna and Carolina. These two ladies did their best to ensure that all of us got what we ordered, even though it took them extra time, and the restaurant was quite busy, too. So kudos to you and thank you, Carolina and Brianna!“
“First time being at the taco truck. When I go to the restaurant next door which I consider okay. Being off Mexican dissent, I grew up eating all the traditional Mexican dishes. Despite them not having all the meats I prefer, like tripa, lengua, and cabeza, their barbacoa was really good. I’d give 5 stars if they had the other meats but so far I’m impressed by the barbacoa. Definitely going back for more. The restaurant next door serves their barbacoa juicy but dry at the same time.“
“My whole experience was outstanding. Service is prompt and friendly. I saw team members touching base with all the guests dining in and they were very knowledgeable about the menu. The food was great, fresh, and the size of the portions is fair. I will be coming back.“
“Perfect visit. Atmosphere was so nice, it was relaxing and so so friendly. I dont know her name but there was a blonde lady who took mine and my boyfriends order and she was so so so sweet. Her service was probably the best service i think ive ever experienced. The food came out fast, and it was hot and fresh and overall very good. Loved it“
“I stop by there anytime I'm in the area. Thay have the best taco salid in Tampa Bay. Stop by and try them you won't regret it. And there prices won't break you. 5 star all the way !!!! I was not paid to say this I'm just a long time customer been coming for several years....Parking: Lots of parking no problem“
“This place was legit! Fantastic flavorful food. Stopped by at 830 pm on a Friday and the ladies were smiling and willing to serve us. I know a lot of places get upset when you go there close to closing time.Order a total of 6 tacos and they were all fantastic. The steak ones were my favorite. They were full of meat, cilantro and onions and super flavorful. The sauces they give with them are really good too. One is really hot and one is mild.I would definitely give this place a try. Way better tacos than the chain ones down the road. $15 for 6 packed tacos, I’m in!“
