“New in the area and First time at The Lazy Turtle . We was treated like we were their most frequent and best customers. From being greeted at the entrance to our server, as well as the general manager, and don’t forget the waterfront. The Lazy Turtle was highly recommended from the nurses at the doctors office. They named several but this restaurant was was rated their favorite and after our experience we totally agreed, and will pass it on to others. As the terminator would say … “ I’ll be back” Thank you for such a pleasant experience.“

“We stopped in for something to eat on a Saturday afternoon. Our waiter, Marissa, was terrific. She was friendly and efficient and very pleasant. We had something to eat and drinks. We had the patty melt which was great and their wings are awesome.We haven’t been here in a while and we will definitely be back.“

“I am a snowbird from PA. When my husband was alive we enjoyed your restaurant sitting having drinks and dinner with several friends and family. I was in your establishment in Feb. On a Friday evening waited over 2 hours to be seated. I was told an hour plus I am a diabetic and started to not feel well. Once seated we were sat at a tall table for 8. The pipes above one of my guests had water dripping on her and her food. Since we ate there numerous times we also were disappointed in food we were served. It was a special day celebrating my daughter's 25th anniversary. Needless to say we will not be returning.“

“This place has a sweet setting right on the beach. Parking is a challenge and is now done with a valet in a very small lot. We have had mixed results dining at BB’s. Some food has been well-prepared, and some has been undercooked and underseasoned. Some drinks have been good and others could have been better. Someone never checking on us after the food arrived makes it tough to point out the short-comings. This is what occurred during our most recent visit. My feeling is that for the prices they are charging, these things should not occur.“

“A very nice restaurant with Excellent Food
We decided to try the Breezeway Restaurant at the Kiwi Club and found it to be a very nice place to have a casual meal.The Breezeway is located inside the Kiwi Club, a local tennis club that has been part of Indian Harbour Beach since 2001. The club has 13 lighted tennis courts, including nine clay courts, and has hosted professional tennis tournaments over the years, which makes the restaurant's location right between the courts particularly fitting. The entrance for the Kiwi club is at a traffic light and there is a parking lot for the club. The restaurant is true to its name since it is actually located in the breezeway between the club's two main buildings and between two of the courts. There is no hostess, so you simply find a table and seat yourself. Since the restaurant is open-air, there is no air conditioning, which is something to keep in mind on a hot Florida day. There was a nice breeze during our visit, and the classic rock music playing in the background was a good choice for the setting. There are also several TVs mounted along the sides above eye level showing a variety of sports, which fits well with the atmosphere of the club. Our waitress was very pleasant and took good care of us throughout the meal. The menu has a nice assortment of sandwiches, salads, and other casual foods. We ordered the smashburger and fish tacos, and both were excellent. I also ordered tea, although it was not particularly to my liking. Most of the entrees were in the $15 to $20 range, and our total for two people came to about $45, which seemed reasonable for the food and setting. Overall, we enjoyed our visit. Between the unusual open-air location, classic rock, sports on the TVs, pleasant service, and very good food, the Breezeway is a nice place to enjoy a casual meal, and I would certainly eat here again.“

“Sorry, was our favorite place, but after this evening…things have changed. Told about 45 min wait. They were to call on our phone, and never called. After 1 hr, we asked greeting girls, who said they called us. No way, we were by dock, no loud people or music, phone on high and kept it in our hand. Told girls to try the number again, to show phone works, and she said she could not. And all this time of waiting, there were always one or two tables empty. Finally got seated, 1 1/2 hrs later, then told no Lolly Pop lamb chops available, which two people wanted. I wanted the chicken piccata that was no longer on the menu. So ordered and then waited about 45 min or so more to get our food. Waiter even apologized, why it was taking so long. But a two star for atmosphere. Was so disappointed tonight, kept telling my son how wonderful this place was. Not sure I would go back…sorry?“

“We read some negative reviews about this location but decided to give it a try anyway. We had amazing service and amazing food. We are not heavy drinkers so we asked for our drinks to be a little on the mild side and they were absolutely perfect! I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for good Beachside dining!“
