This is by far the most authentic italian food we have had in Melbourne. Cooked to perfection and so very flavorful. The entire restaurant had a great vibe, fun staff with a definite hometown feeling. Looks like we just found our go to spot. Thanks Nelson for your top notch service and recommendations. Very good Italian restaurant. The food was excellent. Cayla our waitress, was very nice, however only checked on us twice. She took our order, and gave us our check. Again, a nice place to eat with excellent food and so, so, service.

I’ve been coming to Trattoria for a couple of years now, and I’m amazed every single time. As an Italian myself, I can honestly say the food here would make my grandmother proud—in fact, it has. I brought her here, and she absolutely loved it. I also have food allergies, and every time I visit, the staff goes above and beyond to accommodate them. I’ve never had any issues with either the food or the service. The combination of authentic Italian cuisine, exceptional hospitality, and genuine care for their guests keeps me coming back. I highly recommend Trattoria to anyone looking for a truly outstanding dining experience.

This restaurant came highly recommended by many and decided to give it a try but with a to go order. A lasagna, which is a safe choice that is not easy to mess up. But, I was proven wrong. When I got home I was super excited! I opened up the round metal container to find a lasagna swimming in grease. I should have taken that as my sign to not eat it. I cut a piece and ate it. First bite was okay. It lacked meat. It was like sausage pieces, noodles, and cheese. I kept eating it but stopped once my stomach became upset from the grease. I kept eating thinking maybe it was just the first bite or maybe it would get better but it never did. Maybe there are other options that are amazing but this left me with a negative experience that I'll possibly never return. Feedback is great for business to improve and hope this feedback is taken with room to improve. Also I will note I ordered late (almost 30 mins until close) so I'm assuming maybe it was that....
