Café Chardonnay

I am absolutely appalled by the experience we had celebrating my grandfather’s 90th birthday here. We’ve been coming to this restaurant for over a decade for every major family occasion, but this visit was beyond disappointing. We waited more than two hours for our food, and not a single staff member offered an apology or explanation. The manager was shockingly rude and dismissive — instead of taking accountability, he acted as though we were the problem. This was a deeply meaningful night, with family traveling in from out of town to celebrate a milestone, and the entire evening was tarnished by their incompetence and indifference. After years of loyalty, we won’t be returning. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone who values basic respect or service.

What absolute pleasure. The staff were accommodating and made the evening a wonderful experience. The food was sublime and the ambiance truly enjoyable. We would highly recommend to anyone who has never been. We sat at the bar before dinner and enjoyed a fantastic selection of wines and the bar staff are very knowledgeable, friendly and fun.

The food and atmosphere is aways wonderful at Cafe Chardonnay. I presented an Open Table reward card. The restaurant came back with the reward card and told me that they could not get the card to be accepted. Now I am trying to get back all my points from Open Table. This is a big pain in the neck.

Excellent service, food was suburb, a little too fast between courses. The pricing is extremely high for the wine list and drinks. Entrees over $50 is difficult to enjoy.

Great place. The Duck and cioppino dishes were excellent. Pinto on tap is rare and was very good. Our server Eric was awesome and his support staff very attentive. Desert was over the top and the best cordials are behind the bar and not on the after dinner desert/drink list. They have the Amoro China China which is rare to come by. Definitely coming back with friends.

Great atmosphere, service was attentive. And the food was so good. Always a great dinner here- never disappoints!

My husband and I and some friends of ours recently enjoyed an absolutely phenomenal dinner at Café Chardonnay. My husband had the elk chop, outstanding! My girlfriend had the Bronzino, which she said was to die for, her husband had the fillet, and I had the braised short rib and everything was absolutely wonderful! We will definitely be going back. Our service was fantastic. It is a testament to why they have been in business so many years because they know how to provide good service and consistent quality food. Put this one on your list when visiting Palm Beach Gardens!

Little upset, great restaurant, however they way overcooked the special pork chop, probably because it was so thin for a bone in- I asked for whatever they had ready on the line, as my guests were halfway done with their meals, I got pasta, which was great- when I got the bill , the pork chop was deducted but they charged me for the pastas, I didn't mind, then the more I thought about it, they shouldn't have charged me for the replacemt, as I had to eat it after my guests finished their meals- no offer of a dessert or coffee- which we got and paid for- disappointed- it will be a long time before I go back,

We dined here this past Saturday evening, and as always, Café Chardonnay delivered an exceptional experience. The food, ambiance, and service are consistently top shelf. It's one of our favorite restaurants, and every visit reaffirms why—always expecting a great evening, and never once disappointed. A true gem in the dining scene!

Great seating upstairs. It was quite busy downstairs and we had a very successful business meeting without having to shout. Food and service were exceptional! BEST KEY LIME PIE I'VE EVER HAD!! Will definitely book this restaurant again. 

Excellent wine list. Multitude of wines by glass too. Cocktails are fair, not amazing or memorable but quite drinkable. Food - tilefish was exceptional. Pear salad is quite unique, tasted very fresh and crisp. Key lime pie very tasty. Service unobtrusive, very attentive and personal. Prices are on par with experience. They are in the strip mall but even patio seating is separated from the parking lot by a thick layer of shrubs, so feels quite secluded.

We had not been to Café Chardonnay in years and we're hoping that it would be as wonderful as we had experienced and it was.  The service food and ambience was excellent. Our waiter included a piece of the flowerless cake for our anniversary, which was lovely. We would highly recommend Café Chardonnay, especially with their September summer menu. The value is excellent.
