Couple of coworkers and I came here for dinner. Luckily I made a reservation and I highly recommend it cause it got a little crazy in there. The waiter was a younger guy and fairly friendly. He made jokes here and there as well. Now my coworker ordered a pretty little drink and said it was good, she couldn't remember the name. Food is always amazing!! Atmosphere is great. Service is a 5 but I gave it a 4 star because the servers haven’t had the nice personalities they used to have here 4-5 years ago. They do their job but are not as personable. Went there for Valentine’s Day and food was amazing. I highly recommend the Mac ‘n cheese for a side. My wife had the French Dip and I had the Cajun Ribeye!

First time at J. Alexander's and loved the dining experience. We had reservations and were seated as soon as we arrived. The space is large with an open kitchen. Noise level was good - able to have a conversation at the table. Our waiter was personable and informative. Was not intrusive. The food was delicious.
