The owner is amazing, understands coffee like you can get in New York. All the food is hand baked, the pistachio biscotti perfectly traditional tastes amazing! If you park per google address, walk up to the doors #5000 and walk through the building corridor, you’ll come out into the courtyard which is delightful, quiet, peaceful and shaded sunny under the gorgeous trees with outdoor tables. “A decent restaurant in a shopping strip that worths 4 but I’ve two strikes against them: seating us at the table right by the busy door for their outdoor service. And the table needs napkin at the foot to stabilize it. By the time we leave, the restaurant is still empty. #2, when ordering Pinot Noir, the server offers two choices. Since I don't know any of the brands, I chose Oregon over California, as Pinot Noir is their thing. In my little experience with this kind of caliber, they’d offer me a taste, and they do, just not to me. The server returned and said, the CA one is drier. I ended up with CA, which is decent.Modern decor with high ceiling, in dark hue. We get there a few minutes before 4, which is their opening time. Thinking we can ask if any openings for us. The staff inside remain inside. Finally when the host comes out, she said yes we’ve openings and will seat you once we’re open.It was 3:56. “I first noticed the environment was very inviting. Our server greeted us immediately and treated us like we were family. very attentive. When our order came out it looked nice and tasted amazing. Everything was cooked to perfection. Seasoned well and yet every bite tasted fresh. Salt and pepper shakers not needed here. I can't wait to come back.“

I put the fish at par but not over the top amazing. The only thing you should watch for is the hostess response coming in. "You don't have a reservation ". Which I did and then i showed them. They still looked at me like the enemy. Would I lie? I was just disappointed that they had no hint of "let's look for it ".“

“I am of Swedish ancestry and had a great talk with Waxin founder Patrick and his wife about my great grandfather coming over from Forslav Sweden in 1907. Guest top bartender Sante (also my GGF's name) in town from Stockholm made me a blueberry gin-tonic (with Swedish gin). Delicious surf/turf gourmet Swedish cuisine recommended by Patrick. At one point, I think I heard my GGF's spirit say Skål (which is cheers in Swedish). Noooo that was the bartender saying that!“
“Fairly good bar food overall, great wings and fries. Great value on drinks, possibly the best around. Bingo on most Sunday nights, which is pretty fun and you can win free drinks ?. (No bingo if the bills are playing Sunday night. This is a Buffalo bills bar after all.) good spot to watch football, lots of TVs.There is also live music on some nights, check the website for the schedule. “My favorite place since I tried 2 months ago, I’ll go for lunch almost everyday, mostly Boca and Wellington. Im fasting so it’s the most tasty nutritious food I’ve got. The staff is amazing and the cleanliness even in bathrooms is top. I always get the small bowl and always ask for a bonus 1/2 spoon of beans and they always give it with a big smile, not this time. Today I tried the Alton one, I had high expectations. First impression was that it was weird starting the line backwards from the right. The operator was friendly but not when I asked for a tin of beans, 1/4 spoon the most… She said no and she wanted to sell me a cup as an extra. I declined, was rude, then I see the line dirty, stuff looked cold. The other operator was afraid to serve too much shrimp and the feta he spread it crumble by crumble, I was amazed of his skills. Those 2 company money savers fighting for the employee of the month. One thing I like at Bolay is to grab my metal good solid forks, this time I couldn’t, not available. The food was tasty as usual but the temperatures were inconsistent, the colds not too cool and the hots warms. Then after sitting the trash overflowing and dirty bowls piling up were a view that you can’t stop looking at it, under my table on the floor smashed veggies. When I’m leaving I’m looking at the other stations and look the same. I avoided use the bathrooms at that point to wash hands as usual. It wasn’t a staff shortage issue, plenty of labor, customer line clear. These guys went through the pick of rush in lunch time with not interval cleanings. So disappointing see that awesome concept lowing the bar so bad. At the end is all management. Not going back there, I mean, that one in Alton but people, you definitely gotta try it somewhere else and get hook by them. Wellington and Boca In Military staff is the best. Hope Alton improve.“

“Food is always amazing!! Atmosphere is great. Service is a 5 but I gave it a 4 star because the servers haven’t had the nice personalities they used to have here 4-5 years ago. They do their job but are not as personable. Went there for Valentine’s Day and food was amazing. I highly recommend the Mac ‘n cheese for a side. My wife had the French Dip and I had the Cajun Ribeye!“

I received several emails and text messages from our guests raving about the entire day. From the delicious food, the service and the organization of the whole event. This location is in a very peaceful area, service was quick, patient and very kind. Food was good portioned and deliciousssss. “Keda and Taylor were behind the bar with other bartenders and with a full bar they gave the service as if you were the only people there. Keep in mind it’s the Palm Beach area wherehigh expectations are obvious. My wife and I did not feel like we were in a crowded restaurant bar, Instead our service was personable and amazing. The food came out piping hot and our glasses were filled at our wish. The pricing was more than fair for the quality of service and food. If you are on the fence where to go for date night or good meal, go treat yourself. Remember to say hey to Taylor and Keda!“
