C.R. Chicks (Northlake Blvd.) is a reliable and welcoming restaurant, where customers can expect consistently good meals. The staff is friendly and accommodating, willing to customize dishes to individual tastes. The menu offers a variety of healthy options, including pastas, vegetables, and vegetarian choices. Standout dishes include the best chicken sandwiches and excellent pot pie, while desserts are also highly recommended. The restaurant features bright and clean surroundings, with open cooking and food prep visible to highlight cleanliness. Service is quick and efficient, with line ordering at the counter and self-serve drinks. Customers appreciate the variety of sides, such as pasta salad, parsley carrots, and potato pancakes with sour cream and apple sauce. The menu also includes meatloaf with horseradish mashed potatoes, chicken pot pie, and smoked white meat chicken penne pasta with tomato basil cream sauce, which rivals upscale Italian restaurants. The basic dining setup includes booths, chairs, and tables, with photos on the website accurately representing the place. Overall, the restaurant remains a favorite for many, offering consistently good food and a friendly environment.
