“This place was amazing! I’m surprised there’s no reviews here yet. The cocktails were unique and absolutely delicious. I had a strawberry matcha tini and it might have been the best drink I’ve had in a long time. And I like trying unique foods, so I tried their lamb burger, the honey goat cheese paired with the sauce was phenomenal and it was cooked perfectly! Would highly recommended this place. 5 stars across the board.“

“Excellent food, as always. The portions are large and the appetizers are sharable. Our waitress was knowledgeable about the menu and attentive to drinks and condiments.the other wait staff were very attentive. Ambience is nice. Nice celebration for a birthday!“

“We had a fantastic takeout experience so we are coming back to join for the ambience next time. The food was delicious. They changed the menu all the time. They work with special requests, which is incredibly unusual with a restaurant that has this type of Craft. Very accommodating and the food is outstanding. When my husband picked up the food, he said we’ve got to go back. You’ll love the place. I’m not sure who answered the phone, but we dealt with him twice and I really have not seen that type of Customer service in a long time.“

“On August 30, 2026! This is first time I visited. I really enjoyed my experience at Yard House! The Nashville Hot Chicken & Pancakes were delicious and had a great combination of flavors. The restaurant itself looks very nice, with a great atmosphere and good vibes. I had a great time dining here and would definitely come back again soon!“

“Gabby was absolutely outstanding. She was attentive, quick, knowledgeable, incredibly sweet, and accommodating, especially with me having two kids with me. She made the entire experience feel effortless and genuinely enjoyable.

You can tell she has been serving for a while because she has that rare ability to anticipate what you need without being overbearing. She was professional, personable, and made us feel truly taken care of from beginning to end.

Servers like her are a huge part of what makes people want to return to a restaurant. Great food may bring you in once, but exceptional service is what makes you want to come back again and again. She is absolutely an asset to J. Alexander’s, and I hope management knows how much of a positive impact she has on the guest experience. She deserves to be recognized!“

“We had an amazing first visit. The sampler platter with shrimp toast, Swedish caviar and the meatballs was absolutely amazing. Georgia, our server, was a doll. She was fantastic with recommendations that were spot on and I highly recommend asking for her! You will enjoy!“

“My favorite place since I tried 2 months ago, I’ll go for lunch almost everyday, mostly Boca and Wellington. Im fasting so it’s the most tasty nutritious food I’ve got. The staff is amazing and the cleanliness even in bathrooms is top. I always get the small bowl and always ask for a bonus 1/2 spoon of beans and they always give it with a big smile, not this time. Today I tried the Alton one, I had high expectations. First impression was that it was weird starting the line backwards from the right. The operator was friendly but not when I asked for a tin of beans, 1/4 spoon the most… She said no and she wanted to sell me a cup as an extra. I declined, was rude, then I see the line dirty, stuff looked cold. The other operator was afraid to serve too much shrimp and the feta he spread it crumble by crumble, I was amazed of his skills. Those 2 company money savers fighting for the employee of the month. One thing I like at Bolay is to grab my metal good solid forks, this time I couldn’t, not available. The food was tasty as usual but the temperatures were inconsistent, the colds not too cool and the hots warms. Then after sitting the trash overflowing and dirty bowls piling up were a view that you can’t stop looking at it, under my table on the floor smashed veggies. When I’m leaving I’m looking at the other stations and look the same. I avoided use the bathrooms at that point to wash hands as usual. It wasn’t a staff shortage issue, plenty of labor, customer line clear. These guys went through the pick of rush in lunch time with not interval cleanings. So disappointing see that awesome concept lowing the bar so bad. At the end is all management. Not going back there, I mean, that one in Alton but people, you definitely gotta try it somewhere else and get hook by them. Wellington and Boca In Military staff is the best. Hope Alton improve.“
