The Cooper offers a mixed dining experience. While the ambiance is welcoming and the staff is generally courteous and professional, the service can be inconsistent. The food is adequate, with some dishes being well-prepared and tasty, while others may be over-seasoned or not served hot enough. The menu has a good selection of American cuisine, and the portion sizes are generous. The cocktails are well-made, and the desserts are delicious. The ricotta appetizer was delicious, as were the coconut shrimp and the tuna appetizer. The swordfish and pasta with pesto were loved. The Whipped Ricotta Toast was tasty. The Watermelon Salad and “Greek” Chicken Paillard were enjoyed. The presentation of food was nicely done. The staff was friendly, the restaurant is clean, and the bathrooms were clean too. Tippens the Bartender was so friendly, informative and really good at his job, giving the best service by recommending the best food and drinks on the menu. The PGA road noise was there, but not bad. Overall, the restaurant provides a relaxing dining experience, but the music selection could be improved to better suit the atmosphere.
