I like Sal's. They do a darned decent job. I don't think I've ever had anything here that I didn't really like. Today, the service was super efficient.. but not overly personable. The picata was really good, but the pasta could have been drained just a little bit more. The garlic rolls are Outstanding. The red sauce is Outstanding. The meatballs are always Oustanding. I'm picky about my marinara sauce. Sometimes they put sugar in it which I don't like. I asked for a sample and it was delicious. I had the eggplant Parmesan and it was delicious. My wife had the pappardelle bolognese and it was equally as good. Service was excellent! We will return.
