I'm a sushi omakase snob, so for those who are not, this is your place.

Amazing experience! Every bite was spectacular. The chefs and staff were very welcoming and accommodating. High quality ingredients for a memorable dinner.
We’ve been here twice in one month, and we are officially obsessed. Each visit has been such a pleasant surprise, not only because of how consistently high the quality is, but also because of how beautifully balanced every piece feels. The fish is incredibly fresh, the flavors are thoughtful without being overwhelming, and the entire omakase experience feels refined, fun, and special. Truly one of those places you leave already thinking about when you can come back.

This was our second time dining here and we had another great experience. Raul was our chef and was excellent. The sushi is fantastic, the drinks are great and it is an overall great experience. Looking forward to returning.

My wife and I recently enjoyed the 17-course omakase experience, and it was one of the most memorable dining experiences we’ve had.
What made the evening special was that every course was prepared directly in front of us. The chef took time to explain each piece, the origin of the fish, and the preparation techniques. It felt less like dinner and more like a culinary performance.
Our menu included:
Cured White Fish with Seaweed (likely hirame or another lean white fish)
Hamachi (Yellowtail) with Yuzu Kosho
Kanpachi / Amberjack Family Fish with Ikura Pearls
Aji (Horse Mackerel) with Sesame and Scallion
White Fish with Miso or Citrus Sauce
Seared White Fish with Tobiko and Scallions
Salmon Nigiri
Salmon Belly Nigiri
Akami Tuna (Lean Bluefin)
Akami Tuna with Freshly Shaved Truffle
Chutoro (Medium Fatty Tuna)
Scallop Nigiri (Hotate)
Scallop or White Fish with Seaweed Garnish
Ikura Gunkan (Salmon Roe)
Unagi (Freshwater Eel)
Uni and A5 Wagyu Nigiri
Specialty Hand Roll with Salmon, Tuna, and Roe
Every piece was beautifully presented and incredibly fresh. The rice was perfectly seasoned and served at the ideal temperature, allowing the flavor of each fish to shine.
The standouts for me were the truffle-topped tuna, the uni and A5 wagyu combination, the rich and buttery chutoro, the perfectly glazed unagi, and the salmon and roe hand roll that closed the meal. Each course had its own personality while still fitting seamlessly into the progression of the evening.
The service was outstanding. The staff was attentive without being intrusive, drinks were always topped off, and the atmosphere struck the perfect balance between upscale and comfortable.
I’ve been fortunate to dine at some excellent restaurants around the country, and this experience ranks among the very best sushi meals I’ve had. If you enjoy omakase and appreciate craftsmanship, attention to detail, and exceptional hospitality, this is a place that deserves a visit.

I visited Sushi by Bou recently and had a genuinely unique experience. The sushi itself was interesting and somewhat entertaining — the omakase-style presentation and the chef’s approach made it feel more like a show than just a meal. The fish was fresh, the flavors were creative, and it was definitely not your standard sushi spot. I can see why it has a following.
That said, the pricing felt extremely aggressive. What was advertised/promoted as a $125 experience ballooned to nearly $400 for two people once we added two drinks and the tip. Most notably, we were charged $40 for four glasses of water. That’s $10 per glass, which is not something I’ve ever encountered at a sushi restaurant (or pretty much anywhere). It was a bit of a shock on the bill and soured the experience.
If you’re looking for something different and don’t mind paying a premium (and want to clarify drink and water pricing upfront), it might still be worth it for the novelty. But be prepared for the final total to be much higher than expected. I’d recommend asking for a full breakdown of costs before ordering drinks or even water.
Overall: Fun concept, but the value didn’t quite match the final price tag for me.

Just how we remember being in Japan. The flavor and service is exceptional. Glad you had brought Japan experience over to our local area. Your service made our 17th year anniversary amazing.

Let me tell you about the sushi place that was so great, it ruined every other spot for me…
Sushi by Bou is my partner and I’s FAVORITE place for an intimate omakase experience. The food is incredible, the ambience is top tier and the energy from the staff is always so welcoming and kind. We just returned to eat here again and being recognized and welcomed so warmly by staff members was really fantastic. Our chef was so kind and even offered to take this cute picture of us from the last time we ate…
It’s always such an elegant experience and the food & flavor is so is unbelievably unique… I’m writing this review already daydreaming about the next date night we’re coming back!
