Everyone we worked with from our tasting (Brian, Jade etc) to the wedding day, (Chef Cass even danced with us, LOVE him!) was a dream. “The food is excelent. The fact that your order needs to be fullfilled a week before, is a bit inconvenient, although I understand the rationale of scheaduling ahead of time. The delivery is not very reliable. I ordered 4 times and 2 of them weren't delivered the day scheduled. Last time was for weather conditions, which I understand, the other time was an internal mistake. The platform to order is not friendly, and when I filled the box for allergies to include information to request something like a substitution, they didn't see it and told me to call them next time, which I will but the ideal would be for them to read the requests done through the platform. I think they have a great concept and very good and healthy food, prepared with high quality ingredients, but they should improve the customer experiemce throughthe platform to keep more clients and increase their business.“

“We used Joy Wallace to cater our wedding 10 years ago. As a surprise, I contracted them to recreate the meal for our first anniversary just for me and my husband at our home. I decided to do the same for our 10 year anniversary this year and, once again, they did not disappoint. The food was as delicious as we remembered and the staff was wonderful. They took care of everything. It was a lovely night reminiscing about our wedding and the past 10 years. Highly recommend Joy Wallace for any event, big or small! The food is high quality as are their amazing staff!“

“Passing through on our way back to the Keys, we stopped yesterday right before they closed and me and my boyfriend both agree this is HANDS DOWN the best crab boil we’ve had! And we literally make it a point to get crab boil wherever we travel, so that’s saying a lot. These are made fresh to order and with love ! The lady who took our orders and brought our food out was so sweet! Everything was prepared perfectly we got two keep it Simple’s with the signature sauce or medium spice and one non spice (I’m pregnant) our boxes were completely scraped and empty by the end of the night! “We hired Delicious Catering for our 25th Anniversary celebration and they did not disappoint! The theme was Japan since we got married in a Japanese style garden 25 years ago. Chef Chris and his team created a beautiful culinary experience. He had servers to help the customers get their favorite dishes, as well support to clean up as the night progressed. We added glassware for drinks from the party planner that was not scoped out originally, but the team was able to adapt and made the pick up/ cleaning process a breeze. Even though the party was outside, the team was able to set up and leveraged the area to make it run like a chef kitchen should.
We had chicken yakitori and tuna as appetizers. The entrees were Ramen with your choice of protein and toppings, teppanyaki style beef and chicken, as well as fried rice. The food was served in bamboo cutlery as well as the cutest “take out” boxes.
Ooh and dessert!! He made taiyaki stuffed with Nutella and home made matcha ice cream. Stop it! It was just too on point!
All the guests thoroughly enjoyed the dinner. At one point the DJ was like “are y’all going to dance or just eat all night?” 🤣 I mean can you blame them? The food was so delicious! No wonder it’s in the name! Thank you Chef Chris for making our event memorable!“

“2 weeks ago I had a party foe my daughter’s engagement and we hired Overwood Artisan Platters. Angel was very informative about which platters would be best suited and how much food I would need for 50+ people. My event was outdoors with a chance of rain and he advised me where to set up, how to keep the food fresh during the party and what to do in case of rain. The table was gorgeous with beautiful colors, candles and flowers. Everyone at the party said the food was delicious and a creative difference to traditional dishes. “We hosted our youngest’s wedding at La Jolla in late October 2025. We are delighted we chose this magnificent venue for the ceremony and the reception. Everything was perfect. The venue is beautiful and there is ample parking around. The DJ, flowers, setups, and ambiance were stunning. The bar and bartender were exceptional as well as the canapés offered during the cocktail hour. Dinner was good and the service staff were outstanding.
