We visited Panama with a larger group and it was great to be able to make a reservation for 7 and be seated right away. The service and food were great. With our group, there was quite a variety of food and everyone enjoyed what they ordered. The atmosphere was nice too. There was live music but it was not overwhelming like some places where you can’t hear anyone talk. It just added to a nice dinner experience. I would definitely eat here again on my next visit and would recommend or over some of those overcrowded/overpriced tourist traps.

Everything was great for our first visit. We ordered the ribs with baked potato and slaw and the kentucky bourbon steak with garlic baked potatoes and green beans. Great food and great service. Will be back to try one of the burgers we saw at other tables.

We've been here twice now when visiting Panama City and both times the food was delicious. Out table ordered a variety of food from fish, shrimp, salad, burgers, & chicken tenders and there were no left overs. Everyone was very pleased with each of their meals. Staff was great also.

We are locals who have been visiting American Charlie’s often for years with great service. The last few visits were not the best. The service at the bar is very slow. We were there yesterday. Got up and left after “o” acknowledgment. The new staff appear to struggle with making drinks. Having to use a book or google drinks thus causing backlogs. We hope this will get fixed as we enjoyed going.

They advertise on their website that pickup orders are available until 7:30 pm. However when we called at 6:30 pm, they said they don't do carryout. Poor customer service.

They have a great staff and amazing food! The Mahi Mahi tacos with chips and queso dip is to die for!! There Wisconsin cheese curds are also a great place to start for an appetizer! Must try!

One of my favorite restaurants in PCB! I love the patriotic theme...but visiting is all about the food! Such a great selection on the menu and it's always delicious. Two of my favorites are the jambalaya and the salad with chicken, bleu cheese, walnuts and dried cranberries. They don't skimp on the salad toppings, either! If you haven't been to American Charlie's yet....GO!
