I moved to Panama City after living in San Diego for nearly a decade and every Mexican restaurant in town was either flavorless at best or just plain bad. El Jalisco is my favorite Mexican restaurant in Panama City. The fact that they know what mole is and that it is absolutely delicious tells me this is real Mexican. A restaurant reputed as having the best steak in town that can't make flavorful and tasty rice/beans is not a Mexican restaurant. I want the best Mexican...

Relocated to PC from Vegas due to the military in June and the family and I have tried to find as many solid restaurants as possible. Went to a couple other Mexican spots in town that were ok. Took our girls to Sweet Frog one day for a cool treat in the Florida heat..then decided "why not grab some lunch while we're out and about?" We walked over to El Jalisco and we realized that THIS IS THE SPOT. We've gone about 6 or 7 times now and have never been disappointed....

Ordered grilled chicken dish LSP21. It was very good. The beans that were served with it, however, were very salty.
